So I am bit confused does the series only partially takes part of MCU? The early seasons were connected to the MCU movies even Coulson we even had Nick Fury in first season.
I am very much confused when they even mentioned THANOS in the series and in the series finale episode we see mack dressed up as Nick Fury. Obviously Nick Fury is still alive he just went into hiding after Captain America: Civil War. Also going to assume SHIELD no longer exists so this is just a new SHIELD named after Coulson? Still going to miss the series really the Inhuman arc and yes Chloe Bennet's god she is so damn hot (respectful way ok bit a pervy). |

Everybody keeps trying to put a square peg into a round hole about the MCU or not... I think it's easier and frankly mentally healthier to just view it as a multiverse where they have mostly the same inhabitants but the events play out .5% different. lol As Steins;Gate would say, it's a different worldline where the action creates a world were it happened and one where it didn't. So I assume after Coulson died in the Avengers, they brought him back and that jumped them to a different world/timeline or multiverse and the movies continued on one where he stayed dead. They never said SHIELD didn't exist, just that the team wasn't together, right? |

I guess the Chronicoms must have killed off Howard Stark & Peggy Carter in the alternate timeline. 1 of the buildings that the Chronicoms destroyed looked like the SHIELD building that was in the production of being built in Ant-Man 1, one took place in 1983 & the start of Ant-Man 1 took place in 1989 & both Howard Stark & Peggy Carter were still very much alive then. However they would probably say that it was a building that didn't contain any of the main Marvel characters.

Would love to look at this as part of a Multiverse but with earlier seasons this makes it difficult other than the season where Enoch arrived and send most of them to the future they were pulled out of the Avengers timeline. I know I am looking too deep into something that we all wanted explained but just need accept that everything did happen but also the some of the changes made while time traveling also had massive ripples. |

Enjoyed the final scene of the series, with Coulson and Lola v2. That whole extension transform sequence blew me out of the water. But the rest of the finale just seemed to jump all over the place and the explanation about why Fitz was missing from the entire season just seemed empty.

The 'is it in the same timeline, or even canon anymore?' nonsense has been raging since Season 5 and it's time travel story. BUt yes it is, and it's still in the same timeline too (other than the obvious side-steps), despite appearances. The discrepancies between AoS and the films are basically just a big continuity error, becuase the writers didn't have access to the scripts for Infinity War and Endgame, it's as simple as that. There are interviews with the writers that confirm all of this. That's the same Helicarrier as before that we see at the end, same number on it. It's still the same Shield (although there's now another one in an alternate reality run by Deke). Although how Shield rebuilt to that level, especially during the 'dusted' era is beyond me. And how Mack managed to pull it off is even more baffling, he was hopeless as a director in Season 7. It's three years until Endgame, and Shield will be absorbed up into Sword when they debut (In WandaVision by the looks of it) on all accounts. |

Or, UK make both happen, because I can't pay double the price of two seasons just for one season.
![]() I'm still hoping that the final two seasons being smaller means they'll eventually release them as a combo or something in the UK. |

Does Amazon all of a sudden have something against shipping internationally? Amazon UK won't ship The Boys season 2 to the US (or season 1 now, but I got that before that changed), and now Amazon Japan won't ship this to the US, though they're still shipping season 6, at least, to the US.
