Thank you. That is a good idea. I messaged Arrow Video on Facebook. A lot of times they respond to me faster when I message them there. Of course they might tell me that they will have someone else send me an email about this. I decided I would contact Amazon about this also even though it’s a long shot. I’m not expecting Amazon to get any more copies of this in. Though it doesn’t hurt to check. At first the person through Amazon chat suggested I send the item back for a refund and re-order it. I explained that this release is extremely limited and almost sold out everywhere and that if I did that there’s no guarantee that I would be able to re-order it. The person checked and said I was correct. Since Amazon doesn’t have any of these in stock anymore, at least not right now, the person asked if I would be happy with a five dollar promo credit. I said yes as I place a lot of orders on Amazon. The person through Amazon chat was friendly. Anyways, right now I can keep checking Amazon even though I am not expecting them to get any more copies in. It doesn’t hurt to check. Though I think my best bet is to see what Arrow Video can do. When Arrow Video messages me back I will let you know.

It should be in the front panel/cover of the book that contains the disk, slides out from the top, there is a small triangle cutout to help grab it and slide it out. Mine actually was slid down just past this though, so I had to flip the book over and shake it a little to be able to grab it properly.

Someone on Facebook said it’s inside the front cover of the Blu-ray. And then I looked at some more comments that have been posted here. So I decided to look again and look extra closely this time. Though I looked very closely other times. I looked inside the front cover and finally noticed something that had been pushed down. I also had to turn mine upside down and so on before I could carefully grab it and pull it out gently. Mine was also pushed down.

A quick double check before I place an order, since I'm currently looking ordering a set sold from the UK (EG such as from Arrow directly).

If I'm reading earlier comments correctly, since Arrow has the UK and North American rights for the Gamera movies their UK and US sets are identical. There is no A or B region locking and I can play the UK discs on any typical US sold blu ray player?

Wouldn't have mattered. If Toho was as unrestrictive as Kadokawa, then the Criterion set would be a crown jewel even compared to this set. But they're not, so Gamera now has a more impressive box set than Godzilla.

"Sorry that your map isn’t included, unfortunately we don’t have extra copies separately. Sorry for the disappointment, we hope Target can sort you out with suitable compensation.

That is a shame. I was wondering if Arrow Video would print more copies of the map if enough people did not get them. Arrow has not responded to the message that I sent to them before I found that mine did have the map.

Well enjoy that map. Not a deal breaker for me as it's still a great set. Just would have been nice to have all the little extras.

I thought mine was missing the map too then I noticed it was on the inside front cover, very easy to miss.

Yeah I thoroughly looked in that front cover, but it isn't there. Target was nice enough to refund me $25 of my purchase price, which I am good with!

Naturally, Arrow blames Target for the missing map That's very nice of Target to do that. I have much more respect for them.

This damn release is like the "where's Waldo" of all releases (so is that map it seems). Now Amazon has my copy arriving today, which I'm happy for but I can't wait to get it just to avoid all the constant drama. If this set wasn't so well done and getting high accolades....

I just received mine from Amazon and holy crap this thing is a real monster!! I knew it was going to be a big set, but it weighs like eight pounds! I just went downstairs and weighed it and the scale read 6.2 pounds. Hell of a set!

Just in case you don't already have enough Gamera to watch - Shout Factory TV is having a MST3K Gamera marathon on September 1st. I guess they made a little arrangement with Arrow for some streaming permissions.
