Now that is total BS. My preorder was later so I got no one but myself to blame for that but someone not getting it who ordered it right out the gate? That's beyond ridiculous. I figured that those who ordered it first would be the first to get it, your scenario almost makes it sound random.

That’s because it is. As far as I know Amazon doesn’t ship in order. For example, with the UK release of Hellraiser: The Scarlet Box there were people who ordered from Amazon UK on or about when Pre orders went up that didn’t get it, I ordered really late, like after they first sold out then magically got a few more & I got one. And that’s just one example.

Wow, I had no idea. I've never tried ordering a limited edition of anything from amazon before now. Do other sites follow the same pattern like diabolik or ronin?

Seriously thinking of cancelling my Prime membership because of this, with the amount of shit I buy from them, you'd think it would matter just a little.
I have 5 other pre-orders open right now, about ready to cancel them if this kind of crap might happen, pre-order price guarantee don't mean ****-all if you never get your order.

So, just ordered the UK copy, actually cheaper than from Amazon in the US, just hope it shows up, and is the same, didn't read through these threads to know if there are any differences.
Also hoping it plays in Region A players so I can watch them at my friends house, he was looking forward to a Gamera marathon.

Toho just wants the control over every aspect including opinion pieces such as commentary tracks. It’s crazy but Toho is notorious for control of their property.

BTW, I got my Gamera set from deep discount today. This thing is monstrous!

Same boat here. Pre-ordered a couple months ago and now nothing. Really pissed. Bet those scalpers who bought a dozen of them so they can sell them for exorbitant prices got theirs though.

So the UK set is basically the same? I see it's in stock at Amazon UK, and I am region free.

Other than the ratings logo so far no differences reported. If there are differences it must be pretty minor

With the US set now confirmed A+B, I'd say about 99% chance the UK set is region A capable

Just picked one up from Amazon UK for my son for Xmas. He’s very jealous of mine. He hadn’t really seen a Gamera film before, and I showed him GGOTU last night, with the English 2.0 track. He loved it. And he loves the comic compendium.

I genuinely did not know how limited this set was until today when my set arrived. It's damned heavy.

I also had no idea it would be packed with so many extras.

Got mine today, delivered by an Amazon Prime driver who handed it to me (happily, because USPS likes to toss my stuff from time to time) I'm sorry to hear others are having trouble getting this. I also ordered as soon as it was announced. This thing is insane.

Received my copy as well today but with the "tossed on the building lobby, get it yourself" service. No damage thankfully, pre-ordered on February 22.

Man, I'm feeling lucky to have gotten my copy then, ordered it at the end of july as a birthday gift. Came from Amazon in a box barely bigger than the set itself with 1 popped air bag as packaging (I wish I was joking about this). Surprisingly there is only a minor crease near the bottom left, hardly noticable at least. Also, this was my first Arrow purchase. I think this was a good start for me
