No Flash for me either. I ordered copies of Flash Gordon and Pitch Black from DiabolikDVD and when I opened up my package today it actually had Pitch Black, The House by the Cemetery, and New York Ripper. You win some and you lose some, sometimes simultaneously.

Got mine and WHOA, the 4K restoration on the UHD 4K disc is phenomenal as you'd be hard to be convinced this was a 1980 movie.

Ordered from Best Buy in June, Flash is supposed to be here NEXT Tuesday,but still has not shipped? Slow frustration...

Pitch Black is supposed to be delivered from Best Buy Sept 1, so maybe on time, hopefully.

So, I checked the last few pages and noticed lots of people have received either the Arrow LE or the UK 5-disc set. Also a couple of hard-core collectors may have mentioned ordering both.

Would someone be nice enough to let us know what the differences are if any in terms of extras between the sets?

PS: Apologize if this was addressed a while ago, only checked the last 5-7 pages.

I cancelled my Best Buy preorder that still hasn’t shipped. Amazon will be here Monday now.

I'm a Best Buy employee, so it was hard to say no to pre-ordering from Best Buy's site because of my employee discount, but holy sweet hell how has this STILL not shipped? I was talking to a friend on Twitter who ordered *last week* and his shipped, so I guess the lesson is to never order months in advance.

Life in retail.

All my Best Buy pre-orders since about November have been shipped like 1-4 days after street date. In one case (Selena) I never got it and had to order from elsewhere.

exact same thing here, It showed up at the local Amazon distribution center last night, and was due today. Was anticipating it all day when all of a sudden the notification changed and started back from square one and now says "Now expected August 21 - August 22"

Got my flash gordon 4k (standard edition). Ordered it from Amazon. Just curious...bluray.com says 2 discs...i only got one? It's not a bluray/4k? Also it came in a import case...the ones with the lock box.

If you look at the area to edit things, you can see someone has changed it to one disc, because it is a one disc release, but it hasn't been approved yet, so it currently shows false information.

100% agree that this is a golden age of home media. I remember when VHS and a small TV was as good as it gets. Now, with a big screen and 4K... dare I say it, I don’t need the theater now. No soft drink spill on the floor, no expensive concessions, nobody I don’t know sitting next to me or in front of me. I can pause the movie when I want a snack or need to use the restroom. Even though it’s not a 4K disc, I had a blast watching Greyhound on opening weekend in my own screening room. It is a golden age indeed!

Next year, Dreamgirls will be 15 years old since the film was released. Why not topping it all with a new frame by frame, start to finish, pristine 4K remastered scan of the film on both 1080p blu-ray and UHD on all two versions of the film, including a never-before-seen ultimate cut of the film as well. Featuring Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos track both discs! Please Paramount, we all need this to happen!

Received my limited edition set today as well. Complete with all the goodies, sealed up minty fresh and in perfect condition from Amazon. I just opened it, and I'm very happy with this set as well. Loving the artwork; the matte finish and the heavy cardboard case; the poster; booklet and even the lobby cards. This one is definitely not a cheap/rushed/flimsy set.

Now it's time to watch this nostalgic (and almost embarrassingly close to my heart) 1980 release in all its 2020 UHD 4k splendor.

Watching it now and I wholeheartedly agree what an absolute beautiful transfer.
