Using Optical but...
). and using component to hook up the home theatre system to the tv. But had some problems when I played around with the PS3 audio settings (when I changed the "linear"setting I wasn't getting any sound) so I kinda stayed away from tinkering with it and left it at "linear" setting b/c I can still get good sound from my home theatre system (I recall reading one member talking about a similar problem but can't find the thread on how he resolved it...)
