Can’t beat Rapture, seems like that was “on the verge of selling out” for many years lol.

Amazing. I know there were still at least 50 copies when I last looked yesterday morning. Sometimes I wonder if perhaps SAE opens a case of what they think is one particular title, only to find out that the box is mis-labeled. Stranger things have happened ...

I have to reiterate but Edge Of Eternity is a visually stunning movie that makes alone that worth the price. Would have said snatch it up but too late.
I'm happy to semi-blind buy it when the TT sale started.

It's not too late... yet. Still 49 copies at SAE as bdgking posted, so the eBayers haven't arrived yet. It was a blind buy for me as well, but I've been saving it and watching other TT first, as it was near the top of my "most interested" list and I'm certain I'll enjoy it!

Sony has put up a second survey asking people which titles they want to see get UHD releases. There's a few Twilight Time titles in there, and keep in mind that if Sony released them in UHD, those releases would include BDs as well. If you want to see new releases of some TT titles, go vote!

https://secure.sonypictures.com/movi...e/polls/4k_v2/

Twilight Time titles included:

La Bamba
Born Yesterday
Cover Girl
Fright Night (1985)
Night of the Living Dead (1990)
Pal Joey
Picnic

Red Alert! There are only 17 copies of Edge of Eternity left at SAE as of 11:15 PM CT. If you're on the fence, now's the time to jump!

Coincidentally, I just watched this tonight and can confirm it's well worth picking up. It's fun and fast paced, with a stunning transfer and a truly bonkers action climax.

I came across a small cache of of Twilight Time titles in an unexpected place. I bought the one I wanted, and would like to share the rest here. In an attempt to be as fair as possible to those who don't check the site constantly, and those with timezone differences, I'll post again in 24 hours with the info.

(I know this could sound a little sketchy, but all I can say is that you'll see tomorrow that I have no affiliation with the store and am just trying to avoid one reseller from gobbling up everything.)

The big reveal...

[Show spoiler]
It turns out Screen Archives has a few items not in their main Twilight Time list. Why aren't they listed? Not a clue. They each seem to have only one or a few copies remaining.

Prices aren't all that much less than current eBay prices. Hopefully that means the margins are too small for a speculator to care and a few people can pick up items they've been looking for.

Here's what's available. Remember, SAE search kind of stinks, so type the title and then click search; ignore the dropdowns as they'll only confuse you.

Is it possible there are others I missed? Sure. But I don't think so, as the method I used was pretty thorough. If someone does luck into something else, let us know about your treasure!

I imagine someone will wonder, so I'll note that the one I grabbed for myself was The Roots of Heaven. I saw Pony Soldier there as well, but it's gone now.

Good luck!

This is old news that was reported here about 1.5-2 years ago and many regulars already know that OOP titles occasionally pop back up on their site. I was already aware of these titles and some others that you didn’t post but have kept mum about it precisely because I didn’t want to alert scalpers and flippers about it.

Never been sure where those extras come from. They have randomly shown up without much fanfare so people mostly just had to stumble over them so any heads up when they're listed is helpful

Speculation has been they were private stock from the TT Insiders, leftovers being held for replacements, stock that might be used for Promotions or Autographs, and the most likely explanation these items that SAE bought from (or on consignement) Collectors selling their unwanted discs.

Since they don't seem to be in the normal TT lists, usually are single or double copies, and usually at full price -- the latter seems most likely
