We're days away from NFL football, and I'm not feeling it...mostly because I don't see how this can work. I look at the schedule and it's like it was copy-and-pasted from 2019, and not from a year with pandemic restrictions.

What am I missing?

Lions bolster backfield with future Hall of Famer Adrian Peterson

The Detroit Lions are adding one of the best running backs in NFL history, reaching an agreement with free agent Adrian Peterson Sunday morning. The pending deal was confirmed by the player's agent.

A 13-year NFL veteran, Peterson has rushed for 14,216 yards during his career. That ranks fifth all-time, one spot and 1,053 yards behind Lions Hall of Famer Barry Sanders.

Yeah but this isn't AP of 8 years ago, this is 35 year old AP who struggled to break 800 last year in Washington. If he can help Swift and Johnson and make them better backs im all for it.

It just dawned on me that we are days away from the season and it just seems surreal.
I just saw last night that CLE will be allowed to have home games at 10% stadium capacity

That had more to do with how anemic Washington's offense was. AP will be a great complimentary piece to Kerryon Johnson.

All Day's lack of explosion and receiving ability make him ill-suited to be a 3rd down back. He's basically good for 3 yards and falling down these days.
