I don't see enough interest to make a new thread, but since this thread is attracting other toku fans - MB is releasing the Devilman movie to Blu-ray in November.


I haven't seen this one but it's been pretty panned by fans of the source material (as often live action adaptions are). I'll check it out.

It's ok but far from great. Have DVD already and won't upgrade unless dirt cheap

I never saw Zebraman. I wanted to pick up the DVD back when, but never got around to it.

As for Devilman, I may have gotten a Chinese boot back in the day. Never did watch it, though. I should give both of these a spin on Blu.

I know a lot of people didn't enjoy this one, but I actually liked it. I've never watched or read any of the Devilman stories outside of this film.

Being unfamiliar with Devilman would be the only possible way to enjoy that awful movie.

I was excited that there was a live-action movie being made, and the character design for it was amazing, but sadly that is the only aspect of that movie that wasn’t outright painful to watch!
