Huh, I’ve had more issues with Netflix than Amazon.

I thought the 4K stream looked pretty great.

For the most part Amazon Prime UHD looks pretty fantastic for me ...however, Amazon Prime also is the only streaming that I have issue when the screen pans. It studders.
No issues with Netflix, Disney plus, or Vudu. Not sure what that is about.

I don't care they are not releasing all at once. Actually refreshing. I feel if I binge too many eps, they may blur...let me digest a week.
I agree. Let me have something to look forward to each week. You don't meet a lot of people who see it like that.

Hmm weird, for me Amazon Prime always stays at 1080p and this show especially looks spectacular. While Netflix constantly drops from 1080p to 720p and sometimes even 480p lol.

I wonder how many people who have good quality are using Firesticks. The quality complaints seem to be pretty common. I'm using Samsung Apps and AT&T.

In case any of you underground-dwelling sub-humanoid cannibals missed the news, Amazon Prime Video now has a Windows 10 app for streaming and downloading, so you can enjoy the service in HQ on your media PC or laptop or desktop or one of those Intel Compute Sticks.

Struggling to get through Ep 3 right now. I find the show incredibly dull to be honest. Like, there's nothing that special about it at all, and it tries so very hard for shock value. The whale part was so ridiculous. Was that meant to be humorous? The only good part so far was when
[Show spoiler]Homelander's son stood up to him, and got pissed off
, and I'm looking forward to seeing where that goes. Otherwise, just slogging through it at the moment. Excellent special effects though.

I acknowledge that this is an unpopular opinion, but I never was crazy about S1. It's watchable at best, but that's it. I had hopes my views would shift now that I knew what expect for S2, but so far nada. Maybe I should just quit now. G

Wait until you get to the end of the episode.

Craziness. I really love the show though. I hope you’re able to get into it.

If you don't like the series by now nothing will change that so why waste your time.

Finished the ep. I am liking that turn of events.

I really don't know why the show never clicked for me. On paper, it should be right up my alley. I'm still interested in the story I guess, but I just feel like they try too hard to be edgy for the sake of edginess sometimes, and it just takes away from my enjoyment (which I'm sure is the opposite of what others experience with those scenes).

Creative choice so they could talk about stuff? Dont like it. I wouldve preferred if they decided not to release em all that they do like HBO Max did with Anna Kendrick’s show and do 3 eps every week.

Weekly doesnt ruin the show at all i just prefer to binge em all.

Talking

They did 3 first week, then 1 a week after, seems fine to me. People can get bent out of shape about anything

It still sucks

No reason to review bomb it for not getting everything at once, though

There are only 8 episodes this season. Three a week will make it run out pretty darn fast. There are not enough programs to fill the vacuum left once the production of most shows and movies shut down. They are trying to stretch things out or you would have nothing new to watch fairly quickly.

But not during a pandemic with production shut downs. They could dump all 8 at once last season because there were plenty of other shows to keep things hopping along. They now have to stretch things out.

Don't get me wrong as I am still enjoying the new episodes but imo it's nowhere near as good as the first season. I happily own season one on UK blu-ray but based on these first four episodes, I'm not sure that I would bother to buy a season two bd. btw Episode 3 has been the best of the new content so far (although I was also greatly amused by that short bit where Black Noir played with a cuddly toy in front of an understandably traumatised child).
