I feel like the delay in the theatrical run means the box will be pushed. I was hoping they would ignore that, but oh well.

I think Clerks would be perfect for the criterion collection - it’s one of those tiny budget indie flicks that’s gone on to become an influential classic.

If Criterion are trying for more representation, maybe they should focus on indie titles from bipoc individuals. Medicine for Melancholy is a cheap indie film that should instead be on the label.

Crash wasn't that surprising since the Region B just got announced a few months before but god, can we talk about how grotesque and crazy good/disturbing that cover art is?
Amores Perros, as we all know, is going to be popping in everyone's mind for the month. Very glad it came out and very glad I didn't blind buy the DVD at Barnes and Noble. The title that everyone wanted and knew was going to be released alongside After Hours. Mouchette reminds me that I need to watch more Bresson (Only seen A Man Escaped and Pickpocket). Also worth noting that I think it's the only Rialto Pictures/StudioCanal title that DIDN'T go OOP on 2010 and 2013's OOP list. Now that Army of Shadows is back, this is getting the Blu-ray release it deserves. Guess I'll start watching Au Hasard Balthazar then (About damn time lmao). Symbiopsychotaxiplasm is the one that I didn't expect because I thought it already had a Blu-ray release because I see it all the time on Criterion Channel. At least there's an obscure title that's being sold. Very interested in watching this one on the Channel soon. Happy 10,000th Page!!! |

Yay! I got on #10,000!
Most excited by the Symbiopsychotaxiplasmas, but I'm gonna love seeing Mouchette in 1080p blu. It's the best we're gonna get. Wondering why such a light month. Because of the two recent giant sets? COVID? or maybe a WKW box announcement later? It's been an impressive year so far. |

Why not both? I think Clerks has more than earned its place to be part of the collection. |
