Yep. Three years is a pretty decent development cycle for a sequel. It’s not like the 2018 game where they were rebooting the franchise, using
a new engine, new character models and other assets etc. It will be a full sequel for sure.

Miles Morales was just to get a major game out for launch and not repeat the awful PS4 launch with Killzone Shadowfall and Knack as the major first party offerings since things like Horizon 2 or GT7 weren’t going to be ready. If one of those were ready I imagine Insomniac would have spent more time and made a full on Spider-man sequel with Miles and Peter both playable etc.

Will I can see this gaming isn’t going to be as big as the reboot. Only 2 years in development isn’t long enough they basically rushed it.

And it makes sense to me if the game engine is practically the same, if they're going to be using the same methods to travel to the remaining realms.

Great point because all the leg work is completed with the assets from the first game. No use reinventing the wheel when what's already there can be built on and improved. That's a huge advantage and reason sequels can happen faster than the original first game. Same is true for any direct sequel and Horizon too. Miles Morales Spider-Man as well.

I hope God of War Ragnarok on PS5 is open world. They hinted at it in PS4's game, so why not?

Thats exactly what they said with Miles Mirales and Horizon. They both said "PlayStation Exclusive".
Well said, Steelmaker.
