Had no idea The Fountain was on Steel....what country is it from and how can I score one? That is one of my favorite movies....

EDIT

I see The Fountain is from France...I will have to track that one down...

I'm confused. Is "Wanted" on German release going to soar or is the UK version?

Do you guys not care if Pulp Fiction has forced French subtitles?

Which version of Hancock is going to soar?

regards,

Richie.

The German MM version is more desired because of its embossed lettering and no rating printed on the cover...

Most SteelBook collectors will buy the ones they really want, reguardless of being region locked or forced subs... Besides you could always swap out the disc with a US version...

There's only one version of Hancock on Blu-ray... If you meant I Am Legend then I would say both...

I ordered an extra 10,000 BC, Fight Club & BB/TDK I wish some of them will soar.

Cheers,

Based on popularity of the movies, region friendliness, relative difficulty in obtaining a copy, limited production, the answer has to be

MediaMarkt exclusive Harry Potter series.

Don't think Fight Club is gonna make it. Along with Léon it's the most common steelbook in stores and they even lowered the price.

Sorry if I blew your hopes.

Thanks for the Indy's!

I think Fight Club is one of the best looking Steel...
Ah well, I might actually trade it for something else later.

Mr. Decker?
Haha!

You're very welcome!
Thanks for Iron Man and Der Nebel!

Cheers,
Gui.

If you need some more trade bait, Media Markt has put Fight Club and Léon on sale for 17.90 €. As usual Amazon.de matches the price and sells them for a limited time for 17.89 €.

Guess you won't get these unlimited editions any cheaper.

As for the trade I'll trade one John Rambo for one zillion Fight Club's.

I agree also... Only one I have is Goblet of Fire, and I told myself I'm putting all SteelBook buying on hold until I finish the set...

I ordered them from amazon a couple of days ago.
I think 21 EUR with the VAT removed.

Only 999 999 999 999 to go!

Cheers,
Gui.

Try to get the difference refunded. Don't know if it works on an international base, but in Germany you'll get your money back if the price lowered within 30 days or so after your purchase. Until last year they matched every confirmed lower price in Germany (guess they cancelled it because Media Markt has it's 30th anniversary), now it's restricted to Amazon if price changes. Send them an eMail with the number of your order, the price you paid and the lower price now and ask them to match the new price. Guess it's worth giving it a try.

Good luck & you're welcome.

Cheers
Helmar

Well I don't speak German and google translate is mixing things up a bit.
I don't like to send emails when I'm not sure if it can be understood.
I speak French and English and I'm not too bad in Spanish but German is like Japanese to me!

I messed up my last order and had to canceled it because I forgot to add the GC I had for it.
It took me an hour and 1000 swears to do it.

I really hate ordering from amazon.de, I wish all my Steelbook will be mint, I was lucky last time.

Cheers,
Gui.

its been some time since I've seen Wanted (German version) on either ebay.com or ebay.de I think that the Wanted from Germany is pretty rare..the I am Legend from Germany is getting more and more scarce..The Canda version of I am Legend is more common and you see it on ebay.com every now and then...

I have sent email to amazon.de in English many times and they certainly do understand English. I ordered the normal blu-ray American Pie a couple of weeks ago, their price on this title dropped recently and they were happy to change the price on my order to their lower price without a problem.

I booked their email page in my favorite. Here it is.

You will be prompted to login, then click on the "Email" tab. Enter your order number (Bestellnr.), and on the "Ihr Anliegen:" dropdown box, just select "Write to us in English", and type away in English in the Textbox provided. You will be sure to get someone who can read and also respond in proper English. I have done this at least 10 times over the past year and not a problem so far. Hope this helps.

You don't need to even bother looking at ebay.de as "WANTED" is FSK18 (Age Rating) and FSK18 Titles cannot be offered at ebay.de due to having no Age verification method. That plus it was only available for short time is why it's so rare.
