VSU will be combo packs.
There will still be numerous VS branded UHDs (we have a few planned for 2021 already!). They will all be horror and/or exploitation.

WarGames?

Unless they’re sticking with their never before released on Blu-ray policy for the VSUs.

After RAD I'm excited to see what kind of lost classics they are working on with VSU. Something like "The Peanut Butter Solution" would've been good for this line if Severin didn't put it out already.

I think people are missing the more important point of the VSU announcement. Yes, more UHD's are coming, but we could have already assumed that.

The significant new aspect with VSU is that more non-violent, non-exploitation films like Rad will be coming from VS more regularly. That's way I interpret it anyways.

It would be nice to have some sort of option to add these (and VSA titles) to the subscription. I don't know if that would work in practice, though. It's a comfort not having to worry about missing out.

I can see something like Meet the Hollowheads, or similar movies being released as part of the VSU line

From the way I read it they will be combo packs with a blu-ray.

They give a discount code, that essentially makes them a part of the subscription.

If you have an issue with having to place an order occasionally, and not just have absolutely everything automatically delivered, then that doesn't help. This aspect doesn't bother me at all personally.

I subscribe mainly for the discounted cost and not having to order so much during the sales. So the discount code works just fine for me.

I suppose they could maybe offer an option where you have a credit card saved and are auto-charged whenever there's a VSU/VSA released? May be more work and headache than it's worth to them.

Does the VSU count as the remaining November 4K, or is there another 4K as part of the regular VS lineup as well?

Hm...

It does.
The first VSU title was initially planned as a VS title but it’s arguably the ‘biggest’ film we’ve released, in terms of worldwide fan base, that we figured it would be a good launch pad for VSU.

Presumably the box set is Forgotten Gialli: Volume Two? Or something else?

Not a lot of time (or reason, honestly) to speculate since it's getting announced tomorrow, but what are potential options for an "internationally beloved early 80s, genre blending classic" that's bigger than "Rad" or anything else they've released.

I didn't guess the UHD, but I did mention that it might stand for 'Vinegar Syndrome Ultimate,' which it kinda does. But it's all good, I just hope it's successful for VS.

I'm glad that it's free for subscribers. That subscription is paying off dividends like nothing else.
