Lion King '19 only existed to entice people who were nostalgic for the mid-90's to wallow in one of their childhood favorites. It's a total "One & Done" experience once you take away the novelty of seeing the film done "realistically", aka Boring As Shit. All of the color, movement and charm of the original is leached out, leaving only the same brown-colored murk.

I mean look at the difference between the two films...!



What's more interesting to look at, and listen to, especially for a kid? Would a Bugs Bunny short be funnier if Bugs looked like this...?
