And I get the cat thing now. Basically Beta was so batshit crazy at that point, looking for a sign, any sign, that seeing the cat was good enough for him to follow it.

I'll watch the first episode cause I'm still intrigued by the whole helicopter people thing - but from what I've gathered it's basically 90210 if it happened during the zombie apocalypse.

This was a really good finale. Overall a good season. Some weak episodes and some great ones.

I gotta say, Lydia probably has the best adoptive family. Carol and Daryl make for the badass parents, while Negan is the influencing uncle.

Was the season finale worth the six month delay? Not that much. I felt it left a lot on the table. Almost as if there was a lot of additional material cut out otherwise the editing was poorly handled. Slight disappointment was the lack of character deaths.

The final minutes of the episode were fantastic. A lot of good wrapping up of things while leaving breadcrumbs and cliffhangers for the final season should make for a great opener when the series returns.

I’m glad the Whisperer arc has come to a close. Can’t wait to see what is in store for us next year.

I thought it was painfully obvious what the Covid delay was - the cliff jumping scene - and honestly given the end result, wasn't worth the delay. At least it wasn't as bad as that deer CGI from a couple season's ago.
