Netflix's "The Haunting of..." (Season 2)

On episode 4 now. It's certainly not poorly made, but it's also not clicking with me at all either. Episode 3 just really draaaaaggged.

[Show spoiler]I felt like I got absolutely nothing out of those flashbacks. They'd stated in the previous two episodes that Peter was a wormy dick who manipulated and twisted her. So here, watch him do it for 55 minutes.

. This just feels really dragged out, but where Hill House had fantastic characters I wanted to see their whole life stories for, these ones just aren't all that interesting. I honestly don't know if I'll finish this one out.

There's also a total lack not only of scares, but of creepy atmosphere. There's just genuinely nothing creepy about this season in the slightest so far. And it's not a case of "oh that doesn't scare me", it's literally just not trying to be a horror series, which may be part of the point, but it's very disappointing to me.
