Late in posting, but picked up The Fly box set as well as Trick r Treat. But, both are now noted as sold out. I've heard some funky things with Scream in these sales. So, I hope I get them. Ordered them yesterday morning.

Also, Critters sold out before I could jump in on it. Do you think there is any chance of a restock on it as part of this sale? Or, will they be adding other titles?

I was able to load up their site and the Shocktober page fine just now. If they're having issues though, I'm glad I got my order in last night.

I’m tempted to finally pick up The Funhouse. Although with my luck they’ll announce a steel book with a new 4K transfer a month later.

I almost bought that, but it would have been a blind buy for me and it didn't quite entice me strongly enough to make me pull the trigger.

I watched The Funhouse recently and I really enjoy it. It's a film that gets better with repeat viewings for me. I didn't care much for it my first time but it's really grown on me. It's perfect to watch late at night with the volume high. If it's a high body count you're expecting you'll probably be disappointed though.

It’s got great atmosphere before it gets into the horror elements. As somebody who grew up going to sketchy 80’s carnivals, the beginning is like nostalgia punching me in the face.

I love the extra features SF puts on their releases. Just two minor complaints. First, I wish the disc menus are silent rather than with music. I listen to the audio commentaries to help me fall asleep but usually get waken up by the menu music after the commentary ends. The second issue is their discs don’t seem to pick up after I stop the movie and turn off the player. I know some other movies in the same player resume even after I remove the disc in between. Otherwise their releases are excellent.

It's actually a pretty good movie. I liked it quite a bit, and I'm rather picky with my horror.
