Just picked this up today, so now I need to send off for the replacement. All I do is send my shipping address and a copy of the receipt (or a picture of the disc as proof) to this email - USHEConsumerRelations@visionmediamgmt.com - correct?

Watched the 60th anniversary BD last night. I said I wouldn’t buy it because of the audio issue, but I couldn’t wait. Psycho, is such a classic film - and this disc has great extras!

Started with the ‘uncut’ version first. It’s a little strange that

For Aussies who bought the local release, I received a response today...

Australia has their own Blu Ray release with their own Blu Ray disc.

Nonsensical response seeing that this is identical in every way to the disc released internationally.

Are we supposed to receive any kind of "confirmation" that our email was received? I sent my replacement disc request over the weekend and haven't heard back yet (I'm sure whoever monitors it is busy), so I was just wondering.

I've sent 3 in the past month and I haven't gotten any response. I'm really hoping we don't need one for them to ship them to us.

I also sent an email to that address, with an attached scan of the discs and the receipt
from amazon. I also listed the hub numbers. I asked them to please acknowledge my
email but they have not responded. Yet.

Been a week now since I sent my email and still no reply. I don't want to flood them so I guess I'll wait until we actually start hearing that people are getting the replacements and try again then.

I sent an email on September 22nd at 2:30p and roughly an hour later received an automatic response which states:

...is it even worth it to buy the steenbok before a reprint gets circulated?

The original mono audio track was inadvertently left off the disc during the manufacturing process.

How does the film sound without it?

I haven't watched the new blu-ray release yet, I'm waiting for the replacement disc so I can watch the movie with the mono track. I believe the mono track was on the earlier release.
