I'm going to ask the obvious question: should Amber Heard be fired and recast from Aqua Man 2 for her actions against Johnny Depp?

Simply put: yes. Imagine if that cell phone audio were never leaked, everyone would still be calling Depp all kinds of a scumbag, saying he's done, and so on, and they'd be right, so she should absolutely face the music for what she's done. James Gunn was fired for 10-year-old tweets FFS, that he apologized for.

This is nothing to do with "cancel culture". One accusation without even any evidence and men have their careers and lives ruined. There's ample evidence she's an abusive biatch, and the same should apply.

You're leaving out a very crucial detail regarding James Gunn in that he was rehired.

What if they fired Heard then rehired her.

Well you should be fired for wanting her fired. I wouldn't fire JD if he knocked her unconscious on live TV.

Yes. It's not really cancel culture though. Even Kevin Spacey's career is over because of what he did.

Actions do have consequences. Although Hollywood is a very scumbag place anyway, and there are a lot of seedy people that do these sort of things without letting their secret get out, therefore nobody is the wiser. Whenever it does rear its ugly head, it should be dealt with accordingly.

Jeremy Clarkson lost his position on the popular TV Show Top Gear for punching the shows producer. Amber should not be treated any differently just because she's got boobs. Now THAT is equality.

I thought Aquaman was just okay, but she was a highlight of that film.

I have seen many fans say they should recast her with Emilia Clarke, to have the GoT reunion, but I don't see Emilia in that role at all...plus she's so short, she wouldn't seem very intimidating next to Jason.

Did we not know Amber Heard was an awful person before she was cast?

Hell, at this rate, there might never be an Aquaman 2 the way DC is running their franchise into the ground.

Who did Heard get blacklisted? I'm guessing you don't mean Johnny Depp as he's gearing up to shoot Fantastic Beasts 3 which is a leading role in a big budget Hollywood movie.

I’ve followed this thing very closely, ever since the audio leaked. Initially, the mainstream media didn’t want to report on the leak, but after so much noise was made online they finally started covering it.

For what it’s worth, Johnny Depp has some personal issues, but he always has come across as a good-hearted person. Heard on the other hand never really has - she’s a fame-seeking missile and her guidance system locked in on Depp

An abuser is an abuser, irrespective of the gender and I hope that Heard gets what’s coming to her..
