I mentioned I watched Welcome Home, Hayabusa 3D the other day. About a Japan mission to collect an asteroid sample - kind of a docu-drama. Now this week I read about the NASA OSIRIS-REx mission and its collection from an asteroid. Good timing. Should mention again the Hayabusa movie has no english subtitles included in the bluray.
I was able to source the Korean movie "Natalie 3D". It is on its way - I hope it is the real deal as the listing was for the bluray 3D. This is a rare bird. Fingers crossed. |

Watched Coraline. Very good movie with excellent 3D. Too intense for small children, I might have trouble sleeping tonight!

Monday - Poltergeist 3D - Doesn't hold a candle to the original classic and is really a pointless remake, but the 3D at least makes it worthwhile. There's shots and scenes in the movie where you can tell the filmmakers knew they were composing for 3D. It's not just a lazy after the fact conversion.
Tuesday - House of Wax - Classic Vincent Price. Very good 3D Wednesday - Creature from the Black Lagoon - This is may favorite of the Universal Classic Monster movies and it's also without a doubt one of the best classic 3D films period. Strong 3D throughout. |

Received Ghosts of the Abyss with a nice lenticular cover. Will watch next. Update: watched, excellent documentary with great 3D. Highly recommended. Bill Paxton was either a great actor or he was scared sh**less when he went down.

Mint Pucka Banging Swell (I know) Well wicked ![]() Tops Champion Slick Sorry to derail the thread. ![]() Back on topic, watched The Meg tonight. Solid depth and a fun, dumb blockbuster. A sequel has been confirmed although I doubt it will be 3D |

Lots of great rewatches from Friday to Saturday:
Skyscraper 3D Spiderman Far From Home 3D Maleficent: Mistress of Evil 3D Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter 3D All awesome movies with great 3D. Skyscraper is probably the weakest 3D experience of the 4. Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter has always been a blast in 3D with loads of cool 3D fx. |
