I am contemplating: why do I keep falling for clickbait?

I scroll through endless article titles in google news, rarely clicking on anything in the top news or US news or political crap. But then I come across these two articles and fall for it every damn time:

Animals Keep Evolving Into Crabs, Which Is Somewhat Disturbing

Costco pulling products allegedly made with forced monkey labor

I'm fully aware Popular Mechanics hasn't had a credible science department in its entirety and that the NY Post is now using this century's version of a full page 64-point bold font title, but I can't not click.

Just finished watching a 1 hour video (cheese and crackers, that was long) on the 2009 financial recession and then responding to discussion posts. Also just watched an 8 minute video for another class, definitely need to get the gears turning for all the big assignments that are going to be due in November. Oddly it's not the research project for informal teaching or the research paper for family resource management I am dreading. Those will be difficult because I suck at cobbling together research assignments. What I'm dreading is that stupid ride the bus assignment - both because I hate busses and I have to figure out how to get on and off a bus and then back to my car lol.
