Best movie ever and favourite movie ever are two different things. I think the BEST movie ever is Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. My favourite movie ever is Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Anyone else?

TDK is as well-made to me as Godfather. So those those two (three I guess cause of Godfather II) are the best made.

I don't have a favorite movie but I can watch musicals over and over.

There is no best movie ever. Anybody who tells you otherwise is confusing opinion and fact.The great thing about art is that no two people will see it the same way.That means that nobody can give anything other than their opinion on which is the best. My favorite movie is Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Holy cow. Talk about a subjective topic!!! While we are at it, we might as well ask which band is the best and which one is a personal favorite.

Favorite(s): A New Hope and Strikes Back (tied), T2, Transformers, Die Hard series. I'm defining "favorite" as one that I can and will watch whenever it's on no matter what, and channel surfing away from that airing is strictly prohibited; analogous to when Stairway to Heaven is on the radio -- you just don't turn that off.

Best: Gone with the Wind, Wizard of Oz, Star Wars series. "Best" is being defined by yours truly as simply what I would think polls would show; not necessarily tied to my bias.
