wow, this suddenly opened up for shipping to the US even though it's still pre-order (a number of other movies already long in stock also opened up for shupping to US although, oddly, a few, randomly did not, yes all Amazon no third party)

My copy of this just turned up and it’s awesome. Definitely my favourite ToC so far. No stupid unnecessarily printed UK/Ireland ratings logos this time (stickered! yay!), and the cut-out slip over the discs’ steelbook works so well.

Mine arrived from WB in a compact mailer resulting in a creased slip. Tremendous. In the context of everything this is a really minor issue but still one would expect items to be new when they arrive and not damaged.

You should ask if they can find a replacement copy jimbean. I have not yet checked inside.Fingers crossed no damage.

This movie has such a big following and everyone who has ever seen it has always recommended it to me. When I did give it a chance, I nearly dozed off withing 30 minutes and I never fall asleep during a movie. Maybe I was super tired, but it was pretty boring to me, and I enjoy a lot of slow movies. Was it just overhyped? Maybe I need to revisit it and watch the whole thing, because everyone appears shocked that I was never really into it.

Yeah I remember dosing off and feeling bored when I watched it. I only watched it once and don’t remember any of it. I never bought this in any format. I am thinking of revisiting it too, especially since I read recent reviews saying it has similarities and relevant to today’s society. Im tempted to get this or the Best But steelbook but not sure if I should since I thought it was boring.

You gonna try luck elsewhere? I see Amazon still has it on site. Mine got despatched on saturday and it says it should arrive by friday. Though wanted to order it from Zavvi.

I ended up going that route. Ordered it from Amazon US, but being shipped from the UK. It's more expensive but I'll gladly deal with Amazon's return policy over Zavvi's (lack thereof) if there's an issue.

Looking on Reddit, I'm not the only one who seems to have been screwed with by Zavvi.
