That's a goddamn joke. Wtf is taking up so much SPACE! It's on an NVMe for Christ's sake too. No need to duplicate assets and the hell size will the PC version be then?!

File Size (at launch)*

In order to pre-load Black Ops Cold War, you must have the following free drive space on your platform:

PlayStation 4: 95GB

PlayStation 5: 133GB

Xbox One: 93GB

Xbox Series X|S: 136GB

Note: console players can choose to uninstall specific game mode packs, such as for Campaign or Zombies, in order to reduce the game’s overall file size. This content can be managed in-game through the “Account & Network” section of the Settings menu.

PC: 35 GB (Multiplayer Only) / 82GB (Full Game) / 125GB (Full Game on Ultra Graphics)

Note: PC players can also choose to install specific game mode packs, such as for Campaign and Zombies, in order to reduce the game's overall file size. Also note the updated PC file size numbers.

Activision with some quick damage control.

Back of the box says different and i'd probably lean to believe that amount tbh. It's BS. Games like this going over 100GB is a joke imo.

That little *

* Additional storage space may be required for mandatory game updates.

Why on earth would they state 285 on the box.

Question, does anybody know how much the battle pass is going to cost in game or how many COD points?

Trying to decide which version will be cheaper, the $69 and buy battle pass or the $89 one. Don’t care about the pre order bonus.

Also will your COD points carry over from Modern Warfare from PS4 to the PS5?

Thanks

It’s funny to see that because the game is 133GB “full” on PS5 @ launch before any extra crap. Activision exposed!

They already know that with the DLC content they are gating + patches & general updates, Activision knows your System will need 285GB free.

Remember? PS5 needs more reserved space the more the SSD is filled up.

When I was at work today I looked in the PlayStation case and they had all the price labels up. Call of Duty BO Cold War for PS5 said $59.98 instead of $69.99. So if you want it Walmart may be the best place to get it cheaper.

My guess is it will be like it is now for 10.00 per season. I would just get the $69.00 version.

For the Cod Points:
https://support.activision.com/commu...er-to-cold-war

Your COD Points will transfer over to Cold War provided you purchase the game on the same platform as COD Points don’t transfer across platforms.

your COD points will transfer to PS5 as long as you have purchased them on PS4.

I was close to giving up on COD buy Battle Royale mode has changed all that. It’s the most important feature to me now. Absolutely love plunder especially.

By the way, after last nights update, is there anyway to delete the main body of Modern Warfare and keep Warzone?

I'll be honest, i don't know as i haven't touched this in months but they kept saying they would allow you to and i don't know if that's for PS5 and PC only or they extended to PS4. The laziness of a large external HDD i'm afraid

That said, the Warzone component and the sizes for next gen are ridiculous. I don't know if i'll bother with it if it forces me to run Warzon on a PS5 and not off the PS4 version in BC.

We got these in today. If the file sizes are as small as they said they are on the website then why do they need to put 285GB on the back of the box?

Once someone gets there hands on these we'll see how much space it really is. Still can't believe it says 285GB on the box.
