I don't know if the program is still active - that might be an issue - but when I got my replacement, I just sent them a photo of the disc and the case, with a note saying I didn't have the receipt, and that worked. You may not see success, but certainly can't hurt to ask.

Hell yes! I love Blaxploitation! We took a couple of weeks off from the Video Nasty Project to do a February Blaxploitation History Month, where we did episodes of Video Ferox for Blackula, The Candy Tangerine Man, Coffy, and Three The Hard Way.

All four were quite excellent!

Candy Tangerine Man is one of my favorites. The "twist" of him being a family man was wild

I just watched Three the Hard Way for the first time the other night along with TNT Jackson. There needs to be a blu-ray release for Three the Hard Way cause it's such an iconic film. Black Dynamite basically steals the plot

And of course Coffy. Easily my favorite of all time along with Super Fly

What is Video Ferox?

That's the one I haven't seen. I heard it was absolute trash. Loved the other two (along with Petey Wheatstraw). Is Disco Godfather really that good trash as opposed to trash trash?

Released on Blu-ray or released at all? Autobiography of a Flea and The Grafenberg Spot, both of which are Mitchell Brothers films, have crappy DVD releases.

Additionally I’d recommend the same director’s crime thriller Sins of the Flesh which Mondo Macabro released recently. Voyeurism, murder, blackmail and lots of nudity, a perfect exploitation flick!
Thanks for sharing this! I have a couple of their books, going to crowdfund this for sure. Their next crowdfunding project is apparently a new adult film with Brigitte Lahaie!

Any recommendation is welcome.
I think all of the Andy Sidaris films Mill Creek released on blu would be right up your alley. Especially if you like explosions and Penthouse Pets doing something that sort of resembles martial arts.

And The Grafenberg Spot DVD release I believe is a cut version because the original version contained sex scenes with Traci Lords during the part of her career when she was lying to producers about her age (she was under age at the time)!

If a decent, deluxe, uncut release of this ever happens on Blu-ray (from what I understand the now OOP previous Blu-ray release was terrible - bad PQ/SQ/etc.) I would spring for it - if nothing else for old time sake!

What is Video Ferox?
I've been doing a show on youtube for a while now called the Video Nasty Project, where me and my friends go through every single video nasty. On the occasion where we want to look at a movie not on the Video Nasty list, we'll do a "series" called Video Ferox. For this upcoming Febuary, we did the four movies I mentioned:

I unironically love Caligula. Even though the editing's all over the place, I think the film's wonderfully weird and moody. A new cut of the film is still in the works, so fingers crossed we'll get a remastered BD sooner rather than later.

Check out "JD's Revenge", "Across 110th Street", "Foxy Brown", "Coffy", "Hell Up in Harlem", "Bucktown", "Black Caesar", "The Candy Tangerine Man", "Wille Dynamite" and the "Shaft" series. Those are all essentials IMO.

Willie Dynamite was quite the surprise. I came for the wild outfits but the message of the movie was really deeper than I expected. Really solid film overall

For some reason I didn't care much for Shaft. Not sure why it just didn't work for me

Been meaning to watch Hell Up in Harlem since I watched Black Caesar but I didn't like Tommy Gibbs as much as I expected to (I'm a huge Freddie Gibbs fan so I was excited to see those movies but Tommy Gibbs r'd that chick and I was like eh this ain't really cool

I gotta check out Welcome Home Brother Charles. It is fun or serious?

Next up in my queue is Trouble Man and Truck Turner. I've heard both are quite entertaining
