Default Movie Bundles

Hello,

I haven’t bought a bundle in a long time. If I buy a bundle that contains a title I already own am I putting a duplicate in my library or does iTunes just leave those of the Recent Purchases?

I know if you already own a title it doesn’t affect a bundle price but I have a recollection of a message along the lines of “you already own a title, some duplicates may appear” but maybe that is is about buying a TV season regent u you own an episode?

There is a 10 Classic Western Collection and evening though I already own 3 of the movies it still works out as a pretty good deal but I don’t have a computer at the moment so can’t hide duplicates.

Cheers

Also do bundles ever change? Would this 10 western collection only ever have had the 10 films that are listed today or would it changed from times to time?

I think last time I bought one that contained a film I already owned it just popped up a warning that some content is already in my library, it didn't duplicate it.

Exactly. It will pop a warning but won't duplicate but the films will appear on the top of the recent purchase list.

10 war films collection for £14.99 is an absolute steal as it has 5 4K films. I remember buying it 2 months ago for the same price.

There is another 10 classic film bundle but haven't heard most of them.

I have 9 of those 10 bought individually for €4.99 each. Bought them a long time ago but haven’t sat down to watch them yet so as pity I didn’t wait.

I have bought a few film series as sets. There are a few more I will buy in the future but in no hurry to get them but not much in the way interested assorted bundles left.

About 5 or 6 10 film bundles are on sale at the UK store today for £14.99 or £19.99. There are some overlaps. Few are 4K and the vast majority are HD but they are super cheap, and might get a free 4K upgrade if the Studio are going to release the film on physical media.

I browsed some of bundles.

The “10 Iconic film of the” series ... my opinion of what is iconic is a lot different to theirs.

The western bundle, The Prestige and Van Helsing (both in sale) and maybe the Transformers 5 pack (terrible stories burdened by too many humans - mostly unlikeable ones - by tv they look and sound great and are €3 each)

That will be the last of my iTunes spending this year. Got to get myself a new ch as it to watch these movies from. Plus way behind on th red gift buying.

Never mind.

I entered a few John Wayne movies and I’ve had enough of the database now. :P

I’ll just watch for deals the old fashioned way.

I have a slightly OT question about bundles. If the movies included are available in 4K, will the movies in the bundle only be HD, based on what is shown or will I get the 4K version?

depends on where you buy. on itunes bundles say HD even if all movies contained are 4K, in this case yes you will get 4K for everything since itunes gives you highest quality possible when buying

On vudu/FN if every movie in a bundle is available in 4K, but the bundle you buy is for HD only, thats all you get.

I should've specified iTunes. Thank you!

Be aware that bundles won't port to MA as 4K if the bundle price ends in .99 cents.
