Didn't even bother when it told me I had 90 hours in fallout 4. I barely touched fallout 4. Loading my save file said 35 hours, and I only had the one character. I have several major discrepancies like that. Games I didn't play much of having a LOT of time, as well as games I played a LOT of only having a small amount.

Same for my fiancé, who put several hundred hours into FFX hd (which also has an in-game clock), only for it to say she put less than 80 hours in.

PSN tracks the time since the application/game is open till it is closed.

I have about 620 hours into Fallout 4. My most played game last gen. Love Fallout 4.

How many times have you played it, out of curiosity? I keep hearing people saying they've clocked similar hours and not completed it but I've done absolutely everything in the base game and DLCs and have only clocked 220 hours.

My most played game was Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fuelled at 541 hours. I played that pretty much every day for 9 months so not that surprising.

Was interested to see I had put over 120 hours into MGSV. It's a game I've picked up for about a week every year since release. Have clearly played a lot but still only at 60% completion.

Was surprised I had already put 42 hours into Crash 4 since release.

I was also surprised at how much time I spent completing some games that I didn't even enjoy that much

I probably spent around 400 hours of actual gameplay. Main game + all DLC. Exploring every part of every map. Finished the game once & started a new game plus. Spent around 30 hours in plus before moving on.

The rest is loading times, menus, keeping the game idle during breaks, possibly Rest Mode. I know that feature came out that year.

So yeah it’s not the most accurate info counter. You can have a game in Rest Mode for days & that would count towards your hours played.

Division 2 - 3,895 hours
Division - 3,170 hours

The Division is the reason I went from 24 PS3 plats to 7 PS4 plats.

One of them is the Division, 3 of them I got on the PS5

So I was cleaning up a ton of duplicate and unneeded saved data on my PS5 today and noticed the time stamp there says 75 hours for me on Arkham Knight compared to the PSN counter’s 157. Pretty big discrepancy.

Horizon is also off by more than 20 hours.

Most played game on PS5, WDL PS5 upgrade. Good game, 7/10.

Next up, have to finish SMMM 8/10 so far.
Then get back to Cyberpunk when it's got more updates and the PS5 upgrade.

Apex Legends easily. Been playing since it launched. Probably have 700 hours on it between console and PC.

Hit the PS button and go to your avatar and hit the X button.
Choose Profile and go right to Games.
You can go to Sort and Filter on the left side and choose Sort By Most Played.
Hours Played will be on the right for each game.
