Not a happy camper right now...received the Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor from them yesterday and now they marked it down $450 today Ordered over a week ago and didn't wait because their sales usually suck every year.

You should just be able to buy it at the cheaper price and return the one you just ordered last week...a bit inconvenient but if it saves you $450+tax...

Oh nice, UK and US both get Harry Potter 4k deals and we get... Booksmart for 8.99, an overpriced 4k copy of A Wonderful Day in the Neighbourhood, handful of DVDs no one wants, a black friday link that takes you back to the main page, aaaaand a broken link to a supposed BBC Complete series deal. Right on...

So far, the only blu-ray I've order during BF is Indian Horse... I really don't know why I thought Amazon.ca would be selling $3.96 blu-rays and/or $7.99 4Ks, or Criterions for $19.99? *sigh*

Meh, I like to complain as much as the next guy and hell, non-essential sale of items (books, CDs, DVDs, TVs) has already been banned in Manitoba for almost 2 weeks and will likely go on another 2 weeks, so I may have more to complain about than some. No scoring deals at Walmart or Sunrise (or Value Village!) for me, BUT at least I do have the money to buy non-essential items like BDs and I'm damn thankful I'm not like so many I see in the US lining up for food. No deals, wah, but at least I can eat and pay my mortgage.
I'll live and try not to complain (too much anyway).

So including my family and I not having Covid, that, my friends, are a few of the things I'm thankful for. It's all perspective.

Their prices keep edging up near me. Bluray prices have double in less than a year.

That's terrible.
The Salvation army near me actually lowered their prices to $3 a blu-ray .. Although their selection is extremely limited. There are plenty of DVDs though.

Fair enough. Although sometimes it depends on the cashier. If there is no price on the Blu-ray (usually $4.99 or $5.99) they will still charge the same price as a DVD. I think some of them still don't know the difference between DVD and Blu-ray so they just charge me the DVD price.

I think it's great. Definitely nice looking discs, and I owned all the Blu-rays beforehand too. I did buy it and watch it a long time ago though so it's been a while, but I remember being impressed with the image on my OLED.

UGO is offering $10 bonus GC on $100 Amazon GC purchases right now as well (although you won't get the bonus for a few days). Makes the HP 4K set pretty hot (at least by Canadian BF sales haha).
