Well I elaborated a theory:

The Aussie release is from Icon Home Entertainment, which is the same company that released the UK version.
Since the UK Blu-ray is Region Free, I'm betting the Australian version'll be the exact same disc and that'll it thus be Region Free.

Another question regarding ezydvd: I've already ordered from them, but never pre-ordered. They say international shipping is AU$5.50 but that Pre-orders are 4.50 per item. Do you pay an extra 4.50 for pre-orders or are they just cheaper to ship?

That's what I'm here for!

Now listen, I've checked up on Australian Icon releases to try and back up my theory. According to liesinc's website, it would seem that all of them are Region Free but some of them suffer from a 1080i50 encoding which renders them hard to play on a Region A system.

Nevertheless, I still reckon that the same disc is present in both the UK and Australian releases.

Yea, I agree. This one looks better than the UK and GER Transporter SBs. However, the GER one is a close second.

AFAIK, there is a RE Slumdog with the Movie and a SE with a Slipcover, the CD, and the Movie. I don't think it is a steelbook.

I've used ezydvd several times for dvds in the past. They are secure and ship very well.
The only problem I have is they will not ship past a certain weight overseas/ internationally, so alot of there exclusives are not available down here in hte state.
