I'm fairly certain it was £90. It's hard to tell because of the way the price adjusted when I changed my shipping address to the US (with the VAT and shipping changes that came with that), but I think that's what I remember.

It looks beautiful but here’s my question? I have it on disc and on iTunes. Both or in Dolby Vision. I watch them both side by side and I don’t think anyone would be able to tell the difference between the streaming version or disc version? Do you believe there’s a difference?

I do, especially when viewed on a large flat panel or projection system. Then compression artifacts and added banding become more apparent from the lesser stream or download. Plus, the lossless audio on disc, in my system at least, does sound better.

Was it ever mentioned exactly what city or state Hill Valley was located in? I know they filmed Hill Valley in California. I just want to know what city or state they lived in for the movie. I'm assuming its California because they showed no signs being cold despite being in Oct or Nov. when they reached each of the destinations of the movie.

Just taking a wild stab in the dark here, that the city is called... Hill Valley?

Bought the 4k hoverboard disc set from Amazon as a gift for my girlfriend against my better judgement, as I knew the sleeves would be an issue. Opened it up of course to check everything before wrapping because I don't trust anything these days.

1 UHD was tucked in so far I had a time trying to take it out. Part 1 on blu-ray had a patch of small scratches. Part 3 on blu-ray had a 1 inch deeper scratch. Part 2 was okay along with the bonus disc. 2 of the 3 UHDs were okay. 1 had some light scuffing. Wondering if I should get it exchanged due the nasty scratch on part 2 on blu-ray. Our Sony x700 player sucks so we may very well be glad to have the blu-rays also and I'd rather them not be scratched right out of the package.

Anybody who gets the discs out once safely is nuts to put them back in ever again. I plan to put the discs in cases immediately and wrap the discless box up for Christmas. Not sure if I should bother Amazon for a replacement. I have enough returns from them throughout the year as it is due to shoddy packing and QC.

Why do so many of the steelbooks have scratches on the spine? I can't seem to find a single set at a Best Buy that doesn't have a scratch across the title, for one of the three films. Even pictures from the forum of the packaging details show the scratches. Is it a manufacturing defect? The shrink-wrap isn't scratched.

Sadly that’s from the box cutter. Although on the master carton there is always a warning to not open with cutter, people still open the master carton using a box cutter resulting those horizontal-line scratch.

The U.K. time circuits is such a heavy, beautifully aesthetic box set that i’m
now thinking of keeping it sealed and displaying it and buying the standard edition to play! - probably the best looking box set I’ve ever owned.

That's amazing! Would love to see photos and/or an unboxing. Mine is still preparing for dispatch, but hoping it gets sent in the next day or two!

Thumbs up My Best Buy Steelbooks Are Here!

Hello there, everyone! I finally sprung for the Best Buy exclusive Back To The Future Trilogy 4K UHD steelbooks and they arrived today. My cat, Chico, was very happy about this since this is his top favorite movie trilogy of all time (Harpo's top favorite movie trilogy can be found in this other forum post). All in all, this is going to be a rather fantastic Monday evening here at the Kitty Cat Condo™!

What's the general consensus on the UHDs vs the remastered BDs?

From what I've seen the UHDs seem a lot dimmer and less saturated overall.
