Digital movies are like Sporks to me.

On the run they may be practical but at home I have Silverware.

Thanks. I have it in my “Fire Sale” list on Amazon. I have watched the entire series via Netflix-by-Mail. I too like period pieces with A & T Models and have:
  • City Heat (comedy)
  • Godfathers
  • Millers Crossing
  • Mobsters
  • Once Upon a Time in America
  • Road To Perdition
  • The Untouchables
Just received Dillinger, on order is The St. Valentine's Day Massacre.

I will reluctantly agree with you. Time is running out on physical media fans such as myself. I am making a effort to purchase anything I want on disc before it is no longer produced in the near future. I even purchased a second Panasonic UB820 4K blu ray player because I am certain they will stop producing 4K blu ray players in the near future. It is obvious Warner only cares about growing HBO max and Disney only cares about Disney+ and they don't give a dam about us movie lovers and collectors. You streamers can go to hell I will hold on to my discs

People were saying that about Blu-ray. Discs will be just fine. Warner and Disney know they can’t cut off all sources of income. Only a foolish business would put all their eggs in one basket. Disney are many things but they are not foolish.

People were saying exactly the same things back in the 80's, just replace HBO, Showtime and video cassette with streaming and LaserDisc with Blu-ray.

Look at how many laymen and those in the press that stay perpetually confused about the difference between EST and SVOD or AVOD.

The sky is ever falling at blu-ray.com. It makes me wonder if something has gone wrong with gravity itself as it has never hit the ground.

Netflix (at least in Canada) is raising their price by yet another $2. That’s on top of the $2 raise about a month ago. All of that added with the fact that they cut down their streaming bandwidth as much as 80% making viewing on my projector becomes impossibly filled with artefacts.

Not happy.

I hate Netflix.

I think my neighbors password doesn’t work because they know it’s me.
I’m like one of seven people that hate them.

And, I don’t really hate them but they seem arrogant and the constant raising prices while lowering service bothers old fashioned folk.

Young people just think it’s fine and keep on goin

If I paid for Netflix I would probably hate them, too, but I get their "service" for exactly what it is worth. And even then I rarely slum and actually use it.

I am. I’m unsubscribing Netflix by the end of my current cycle. If I can’t even watch a movie on my projection system, then it’s not worth my money at all. The picture quality have turned to utter mush in the past month or so.

I love a good period piece, and this one falls into that category.
That was a good Show when I had HBO years ago. HBOMax has it, and Amazon Prime at $15/Season!

The complete five season blu-ray set is $67.99 at Amazon. That's $13.60 per season, so the better quality blu-ray is also the best value. Includes the digital code, too.

Last night I suddenly came down with flu symptoms. I went to the hospital and received two Covid-19 tests, but it takes up to 2 days to get the results.

I still have the flu symptoms and I feel like crap, so I will be scarce until things improve.

One of the swab tests is VERY unpleasant; it feels like they are trying to skewer the brain via the nose and pull it out.

Sorry to hear that. I hope the tests come back negative and you feel better soon!

Oh boy, really sorry to hear that. I do hope it is just a cold and not CV19.
