Default A gay adult vampire parody in 3D

If this is your thing then read it. If not then ignore this. Please read my review on the main I.m.d.b.His Dracula a parody, from Hustler. If you want to read that, then press the adult enabler. They got your age on their record. You have to be 18 years of age to read this. After you read it,don't blame the 3D for the problems.I looked at the movie in 3 different ways and had to be honest in my review

Just so you know, adult films are not something I think this forum really wants posted about here. They want it to be family friendly last I checked. I don't really mind but i'd recommend checking if you haven't.

There is more 3D porn available now than there ever was during 3D TVs thanks to VR.

There are now thousands of Japanese VR titles available from Fanza and in the west many sites like "Naughty America VR" and "BadoinkVR" resulting in thousands of scenes available.

But of course it is formatted for VR headsets and not 3D TVs, so if you want to watch it on a 3D TV you have to convert it to a more suitable playback format - i.e. a side-by-side 3D video. You can do this with some Avisynth or Vapoursynth filters. All you need to do is separate out the two eye views and apply some defishing/FOV correction.

If you have a 4K TV that can do 3D too then you can even make a side-by-side 3D video @ 3840x2160 resolution out of VR porn and it looks awesome. Other than PC games, it's the only other source of 4K 3D content I've found. These VR videos look way better than earlier 3D productions designed for TVs and fortunately they come in high resolutions (I've seen many being released in 5K res w/ 60 fps framerate now) so they convert to 4K SBS 3D videos very well!

I feel I'm too old for this but I guess it is time to invest in at least 1 disc of this nature.

Any recommendations? Can you name at least top 3 titles for you whether you've seen them or just got your most interest?

I saw alot of Hustler and Japanese titles out there but don't know which to pick. And are they even stereoscopic? I fear some of those might be anaglyphs.

There's a brief conversation about adult blu-rays in the "How to find a good 3D blu ray title" in the sticky section, posts 16-23. In short, all those titles you've seen are probably real side by side 3D, and are quite high quality.

From my collection, i'd recommend the following:

This Ain't Conan the Barbarian - This is a perfect movie to make a porn spoof out of, as Conan the barbarian barely has to be adapted to make it work. I also found the humor to be okay, which is a good change of pace from most Hustler films. Most of the time I find them aggressively un-funny, Conan mostly works. The 3D is good throughout, and the production is high quality as well. The only bad shots come when they try a little too hard and use a green screen background, that's one of the worst green screen effects I've ever seen.

Catwalk Poison 31: Kaori Maeda - All the Catwalk Poison titles have great 3D, what sets this one apart is the Kimono scene. It's a gorgeous girl with a gorgeous kimono being slowly disrobed. This is one of the best subtle uses of 3D I've seen. 3D really brings out the details in the Kimono, all the subtle folds and layers really pop.

Catwalk Poison 5:Megumi Sino - Again, really good 3D. This time I found the 3D depth and pop-out a little better than in other titles, and there's one scene in particular that is great. It's a soft core interlude scene involving a girl in a bubble bath ending with a shower of bubbles that is one of the most extreme pop-outs I've seen.

Thanks guys, I went with the one that shows "Blu-Ray 3D" logo Jailhouse Heat.

Is Side-by-side 3d different from "Blu-ray 3D" that is why such titles (like This Ain't series) do not carry the logo?

I was typing that quickly before dinner, and my memory was a little off. I just meant that those titles use the same 3d playback as any other 3D Blu-ray, where there is a discrete left and right image. The standard most blu's actually use is over-under "frame packing" explained here.

Edit: There is one exception - This Ain't Avatar (only the first one). That title still uses descrete left and right images, so it's still real 3d, but it uses a different standard. I can't remember exactly what it was, but I had to change the 3d settings on my t.v. to make it display correctly. My copy also has a weird visual problem. In the first jungle scene the pixels in the background shift in color slightly every few seconds. It's not unwatchable, but I find it very distracting. I don't know if all copies have that, but I figure I should bring it up while I'm talking about it.

This is what concerns me on some of the titles. Not steroscopic but anaglyph 3D.

Below is for the one titled with "Chatsworth".

"Markman misses the mark on the 3-D process. Sold as a 2-DVD set, providing both flat and depth versions, the 3-D cut is anaglyph, meaning the color is nearly absent due to watching through red & blue lenses at home."

This is my source where about quote is found. Just know that I already reference above the only stuff that is key to 3D. The rest is non-3D stuff review.

Most of these movies were released in both DVD and Blu-ray. The DVD editions of these movies were usually presented in anaglyph, while the Blu-rays are "real 3d" ( meaning that there are discrete left and right images).

I can't post pictures so I'll PM you some links that shows the front and back covers of some titles.

For Chatsworth you can see that the Blu-ray edition has "Blu-ray 3D" on the front, and on the back even says that it's MVC encoded. MVC is the compression standard specifically for 3D blu-rays. So this one is about as clear as possible, it's real.

This Ain't Conan muddies the water a little by having it's 3d logo " Shot in 3D" use a glasses symbol that has red and blue lenses. This is simply because the red and blue glasses have become a widely recognized symbol for 3D. The Blu-ray is using the standard over-under MVC encoding as all other "real 3D" Blu's. You can see on the cover that there is an official Blu-ray symbol, and it lists the contents as "Disc one 2D Blu-ray, Disc two 3D Blu-ray". If there's a Blu-ray symbol and it says "Blu-ray 3D", it's real.

Catwalk Poison's cover says "3D in real" surrounded by some Kanji I can't read. This is typical of adult Japanese 3D Blu's. They say something like "shot in real 3d". The back cover as you can see has the official Blu-ray logo. If it says "real 3D" and has that logo, it's real.

If it's OK in the Vinegar Syndrome thread then it's OK here. This thread had been deleted at one point but I disagreed with that move and brought it back because this is a 3D forum so all types of 3D Blu-ray content should be able to be discussed.

Just please don't post any explicit material.

Then that reviewer in imdb did an inaccurate post on the 3D part. Glad this site has members that can provide clear guidance.

Good move. Family friendly just doesn’t fit when it’s a forum for film collectors. Far too limiting.

So I got my Jailhouse Heat. It came with a white big case instead of the customary blu case so I have to transfer it to a blu case to fit my collection shelf. This meant having to fold bottom portion of the sleeve to fit the case as well.

One thing that was interesting to find is that apparently this disc bumped all the way to number 1 in terms of my sort by Release Date. I have Cloudy holding that spot since I purchased that 10 years ago!

Historical significance right here.

I think Jailhouse Heat was the first 3D adult title. Haven't gotten around to watching that one yet, but the 3D has been pretty good in the ones I have watched. Some of the Hustler titles also include an anaglyph version, at least one includes red and blue glasses while not including any anaglyph material on the disc- best to let that format die anyways.
