Can anyone confirm if there are any special features on the bluray? From what I've been able to surmise it appears barebones...which is a bit disappointing.....

Couldnt find it at any stores either. I guess it wasnt released in Canada.

It's weird, since the back cover says it is for sale in the USA and Canada only.

When the show aired, the first 2 episodes were 51 minutes long but the next ones had to be cut out due to CW to fit their air program. BUT, originally all episodes were supposed to be 51 minutes long. They did film all the episodes to be like that and it's confirmed by the cast and crew. Does anyone know if in the Blu-ray the rest episodes are 51 minutes long as well?

They've said that they filmed the first two, then when CW came on board, they either didn't film the 50ish minutes one or edited them with CW in mind. There is no 50ish minute cut for 3-13.

There is an HDR grade of the show on DC Universe. This seems to be very popular with a strong following. Too bad they didn't release this on 4K!

Watched the entire first season yesterday and today. Absolutely loved it. I just hope now that it is on the CW it won’t turn to garbage like the rest of their shows have. Keep it 13 episodes. Don’t stretch it out to include filler like love triangles and all the high school drama. Keep it tight.

With Shameless that really annoyed me. With the final season now filming, hopefully the last two seasons will get MOD Blu-ray releases. At least just for us that have all the previous seasons on Blu and would like to complete our collection. Ugh.

Is it still filming? It premieres on Dec 6th lol

I wouldn't expect them to do the final two seasons, but maybe if enough people complain then they could go back and do it, like with iZombie s1 and 2 and s2 and 3 of Black Lightning... but if they didn't do it originally then I wouldn't count on it, but still, who knows.

Honestly, I'm not sure if they are still filming. But I do keep seeing photos on social media being posted on set?? Either way, it would be nice to just get those last two seasons on Blu-ray. It's one of those things where it's just like you've put out 9 seasons, the show is now about to end. Please just let me have this. I am still holding out hope for Germany though. They release Shameless on Blu-ray every December. If it's not announced or released within December, there is no hope.

Anyone receive BD-Rs in place of pressed blu-rays in this set, as one customer at Amazon is complaining?

If it's BD-R then they may have bought it from a seller because even WAC's MOD titles are always pressed BDs, the DVDs are what's burned... but this is from WBHV not WAC anyway.

Thanks, that was my suspicion too. Amazon offers precious little about vendors, and I was thrown by the "verified purchase" status, which Amazon probably lists for anything bought through its platform whether sold by them or not.

I dunno.
There's an issue with some of the Paramount Bd catalog releases from Amazon where they're burned if you get them via Amazon, but pressed anywhere else including DD, BB, and Target.

I jumped on the current sale price, but since then have checked this thread and seen the Amazon review. I'd be saving $2 over the price from a recent Target B2G1 sale, but I wonder if that $2 is worth it for the peace of mind.

Unless someone chimes in otherwise, I'm gonna cancel the Amazon order and just go with the Target.
