Why does the Criterion look so blue?? It looks like there's slight cropping on the bottom and top too, although since this is supposedly the correct aspect ratio I wouldn't mind it.

The color might be because of the Bleach Bypass process that the negative went through in post-production. It's probably way more accurate than the old BluRay, but it's a matter of getting used to the look of the film again.
