I burned all my Galaxy copies. Time for Avengers: Infinity War. But, wait a second ...

• Directed by: Anthony Russo and Joe Russo
• Produced by: Kevin Feige
• Screenplay by: Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely
• Production company: Marvel Studios
• Distributed by: Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

• Budget: $316–400 million
• Box office: $2.046 billion

It's ok.

I am sure that would thrill you to have that kind of eugenic control, but fortunately for the rest of us you don't have it. Keep defending the dregs in the name of muh entertainment.

It would be interesting if all the people complaining about Gunn had to defend all the stupid jokes and things they said when they were young.

Why, what would be the point in that. We're not all representatives for a family oriented company in the public eye and we're not all stupid enough to tweet any poor taste or sick jokes to the world.

The audio track on Guardians Vol2 3D blu-ray is DTS-HD MA 7.1. The movie is now in Netflix and it has Dolby Atmos soundtrack!

So:

1. Start your Guardians Vol2 3D blu-ray on blu-ray player, and put the movie on pause at the beginning.
2. Start Guardians Vol2 on Netflix on different device, like Xbox/PlayStation/etc. Output the sound to your Dolby Atmos amplifier. Put the movie on pause at the beginning.
3. Display the 3D blu-ray picture to your screen. Press play on both devices. Sync the audio and video by quicky pausing & continuing the device that's "ahead", until sound and picture matches.
4. Enjoy Guardians Vol2 in 3D and Dolby Atmos!

Watched the 3D of this as part of a phase 3 revisit before seeing Endgame and I loved it. While I miss the extended colour and dynamic range of the 4K HDR disc the black crush on that version is horrible, and the terrific 3D makes up for the lack of range in its own way. This conversion is so good it's almost like a native show.

Gonna rewatch Guardians 1 in 3D later.

Really enjoyed the 3D in both Guardians films as well, interested to see where the characters will go in Vol. 3.

That is the frustration of the MCU movies. You can either watch in 4K HDR/DV with Atmos or you can watch glorious 3D but with no HDR and 5.1/7.1

Such a stunning 3D movie, James Gunn has a great eye for the format that's for sure.

I'm perfectly happy with 3D, SDR and 5.1/7.1 sound.

Guardians Vol. 2 doesn't disappoint in 3D, hope that the third film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will also be in 3D, i wouldn't be surprised if that would be the case.

I don't know if that film will in be in 3D, but being a Warner Bros. film, maybe.

As Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, as it's Marvel film, i still wouldn't be surprised for that film to be in 3d, also wouldn't surprised if the film is a U.S./Japan co-production, the first two films (Vol. 2 especially) have really impressive 3D, so i hope that continues with Vol. 3.

I wouldn't count on The Suicide Squad being in 3D. It's to be rated R, and the DCEU's last R-rated flick Birds of Prey wasn't 3D either. Plus James Gunn's a fan of 3D, so if his Suicide Squad was in 3D too, he probably would've mentioned it by now.

And he would want the third Guardians film to be in 3D, given that the last two Guardians films were in 3D, it wouldn't make sense if the third film is in 2D, also they have moments where the 3D is fantastic in both films.

Watched this again yesterday. I think this is THE best 3D movie in the entire MCU and one of my favourite 3D movies (for the 3D). I’d put it in top 5. Reference quality 10/10.
