Robert Rodríguez REMAKING PREDATOR!??!

OMG! There is no god, noW admittingly I was happy for Zombie's Halloween and the Texas Chainsaws, but this is my WTF moment of the year!?!?! Robert Rodriguez, I hate his stuff, he only ever made one decent movie that being Desperado and I have hated everything he's done since than. And now he thinks he can remake Predator? Why don't they just make a part 3, there could have been so much more areas to go, but now he's going to change the entire storyline, and you cannot have Predator with Arnie or Jesse! The Faculty and Planet Terror where garbage IMO and now he thinks he has the talent to make Predator "My Own"

No, the best guy flick out there and a near prefect movie dosnt need re-make, i i will never see it unless i hear it is really good

This is one of those movies that holds up perfectly, and cannot be made better. Some of the others have benefited by the upgrade in effects but seriously, I have never once watched this and thought they should remake it. I love both Predator movies and was just wondering why they never made a 3rd, cause I hated the AvP movies, and this is how you answer me Hollywood with a god damned remake!?!?!? So what now the predators will all be CGI? Cause there are very few real tall actors I can think of in hollywood.

Damn you!!!! You damn dirty apes of Hollywood!!!

Robert Rodriguez is one of the most talented film makers in Hollywood right now. What are you smoking?

For example, the cast of The Expendables.

I remember hearing about this a few months ago. It will not have Arnold's character but it will be pretty much the same plot with military in the jungle. The real difference is there will be more than one predator hunting them down.

I hated the AvPs as well, and i wish they would make a 3rd instead of a remake since the 2nd was really good as well

The Predator don't really have to be actors, just tall muscular guys in suits - tell me, what other works has Kevin Peter Hall been in, off the top of your head?!

Haha of course I know Harry but what about Predator 2? Did you know he is also the black helicopter pilot at the end of predator that choppers em out? Not many people realize this.

I think maybe I'm one of the few supportive. I don't like remakes as well... but Robert Rodriguez is one of my favorite directors that can really turn things around and make this series something spectacular for the new generation. Hopefully end any Aliens vs. Predator and hopefully see both of these get a jumpstart.

The only thing Predator that I've enjoyed in the past 20+ years are the Batman vs. Predator comics (mostly the first volume), so hell yeah... jumpstart "PREDATOR" and if its' Robert Rodriguez directing, I'm all for it!

And just to add...because we enjoyed it when many of us were younger, this finicky generation are all about new technology and better special effects. So, if any of the 80's titles such as Predator, Robocop, Beverly Hills Cop, War Games, Pretty in Pink or Revenge of the Nerds or whatever that was cool to us then...then I don't mind seeing a jumpstart.

I'm 23 and I love Predator, the original and the 2nd one, 2 favorite movies of mine! Why not just go remake Alien, I didn't like those movies with the exception of Aliens.

I agree with him. I think Rodriguez is a hack. He should stick to kid's movies. This has horrible idea written all over it.

Obviously you never saw any of the Spy Kids movies or Shark Boy and Lava Girl. Sin City was complete;y over rated like The Boondock Saints

Thank you! Desperado was somewhat entertaining but had more weapon screw ups than anything I'd ever seen before, and also some of the dumbest. Hey Rodriguez, STOP PUTTING SILENCERS ON REVOLVERS!! That serves absolutely no purpose jackass!

I don't see how you can call someone who writes, directs, produces, dp's, and edits all of his own stuff talentless. And he made El Mariachi for only $7,000. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, so I won't fight yours, but I think he's great. And Sin City is freakin' awesome.
