I believe it. Just watched it for the first time myself. The animation of the kids looked dated at times but then again there were some really incredibly done sequences. Overall a fun movie to kick off my holiday movie viewing.

Preordered Wings of the Hawk. Decided supporting 3D more important than my personal likes. Besides Julie Adams is hot.

Exodus: Gods and Kings
Really good 3-D here, much improved depth than seen in Prometheus. Beautiful cinematography too. The movie itself isn’t bad but a little uneven. Suffers from being poorly miscast although Christian Bale puts in a commanding performance. Forgot Jesse from Breaking Bad is in this movie. Still need to watch the deleted scenes which are also in 3-D. |

I watched Those Redheads from Seattle last night and while I found the movie kind of boring I thought the 3D restoration was excellent! I also watched Star Trek Beyond and I found the 3D to be underwhelming. Don’t get me wrong, they did a really great job and it adds lots of depth to the picture but nothing really that came out of the screen until the end credits. I was never into 3D movies in theaters but I’ve become a little obsessed with watching 3D films at home. Especially the older 1950s titles. I have basically been ordering titles that were given a 4.5/5 by Blu-ray.com. I have watched 6 titles in the past week and I have about 21 more that are on the way!
