I noticed a major differenct because I had so much crap of that circuit that it would draw too much and make my tv and speakers "pop" once in awhile. Every since I hooked up the Panamax I only had the "pop" once and it was during a rolling brown out. Also if lighting strikes I am covered through Panamax.
