I just recently got Return of the Living Dead Part 2 from Amazon for a great price. I have the MGM Blu-ray of the first Return of the Living Dead but wanted to ask Cliff from Scream Factory if it's possible for the original 1985 film to come back into print?

Also, who owns 4 & 5? Lionsgate?

MGM is reportedly up for sale. So it makes a lot more sense now why all the MGM titles are going OOP.

Any chance we could get 4K UHD physical releases of Halloween II (1981) and Halloween III (1982) next Fall?
Or even Psycho II (1983) and Psycho III (1986)?

Isn't Clownhouse with MGM? Hope someone naps that up before MGM is bought as we'll never never see a physical release of it after that.

Only Universal and Scream Factory have the answer to that. I certainly hope so. Also want Psycho 4 to get a UHD release.

IF we get 4K UHD's of Halloween II or Halloween III, I'd put my money on Universal releasing them directly. Now that the franchise is active again (it was very dormant when SF! released the original discs/box set), I don't see them giving up the cash cow to a third party.

Do we know of any prospective buyers as of yet?

John Lyons from Vinegar Syndrome said he would like to release it, so i'm hoping we see it in 2021.

Lol, this is sensationalism.

As long as they aren't squires by Disney we'll be okay, calm down.

The Screaming Skull is a favorite of mine. Its dumb and cheesy, but I love it haha.

I haven't seen it for many years, so I'm looking forward to watching it again after all this time. And the MST3K episode included is a nice bonus!

Let's face it: Anyone who doesn't have a movie in their collection that features floating skulls, well, you may as well just throw out your collection.

"The Skull" is definitely my favorite entry in the floating skull genre.

If Disney buys MGM, we're royally f**ked, needless to say. They'll be well on their way to world domination if that happens. MGM has such a storied library it's just a damn shame nobody in that world gives a crap about movies anymore.

I would have mentioned Disney in my list above, but I think the government would step in if they tried to buy MGM.

Yeah I don’t think Disney would even be legally permitted to purchase MGM.
