I filed one on 12/11 for a package I shipped after no scans since dropped off on 12/7. They did open it up, but 2 days later they called me and said there was not a trace of it in the system and told me to contact my local PO, then closed the case with the package still lost. I went to local PO and was told to leave a handwritten note for postmaster with the tracking number and situation, to which the postmaster never responded.

The package finally scanned for the first time at the local sorting center on 12/20, 2 weeks after I shipped it first class. I had another first class package with this exact same thing happen except I shipped it on 12/9, so that one only took 1.5 week before local sort center scan. Neither of these packages are close to delivery yet , but at least they aren't lost entirely

Bottom line if you ship with usps or are receiving usps expect a cluster****. Fedex has been most reliable for me, UPS a distant 2nd as they keep breaking stuff/rough handling despite being on time

Filing a missing package claim probably won't do any good right now, as they've been getting many of them from the other people with late packages. I foolishly sent one a few weeks ago before late packages became a norm and just got a standard response that my package was in transit.

Late packages and no shows have been a problem for me for several months. Wish it was just a few weeks.

I placed an order on December 1st and have not heard anything. I have an order ID number from when I placed the order. In light of the current situation, I don't mind waiting. Currently, their website is down for maintenance. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Folks, General Tom reporting from the Dark Force Shipping Department. So here's the thing with the recent shipping notifications. We just figured out after over 2 years using Big Commerce how to activate the shipping notifications upon shipping your orders. So we started to implement on all the Black Friday orders. You may have received the notice after receiving the package. Otherwise you can expect additional delays with USPS on shipments. Also all Black Friday orders are currently in the mail except a small amount in the 1400's that will be in the mail by tomorrow. If you made a change to your order those are also some of the last ones to be shipped. Unfortunately due to circumstances this year you have to be a little more patient with the order shipment times. We are making every effort to work as quickly as possible amidst the restrictions.

Sorry to hear that General Tom, its unfortunate you didn't ask for help, but since you're using Big Commerce do you think you'll also be able to figure out how to keep the store up full time? You must have some setting set wrong, because the store keeps shutting down.

They have site configured wrong to use big commerce certificate instead of darkforce certificate. Not hacked or anything like that

Same here... I figured it would be well into the new year before it even arrived based on how slow all my other packages have been taking. Only 6 days to arrive to me and it went through the LA postal hub? That's friggin' FAST for right now.

The SSL had to be renewed when the store was down. The site is 100% secure. The store will be reopening tomorrow with the new release JOURNEY INTO FEAR.

Finally have some movement on my last order 20 days after the label was created but it's in New Jersey. Just one more hurdle to get through and I'll be set. This is the longest I've waited for a domestic package to arrive since the 90's mail order days

I have a package that I shipped USPS first class on Dec 7 and it's still sitting in a bin at a sorting center 40miles from me , with a long way to go. Another one I shipped first class on Dec10 that is sitting in a bin at a sorting center 20mi from me.

Usps has been a complete disaster in December. Fedex and UPS seem mostly unaffected.

I've had UPS delays as well. FedEx in my area has been great and they even deliver on Sundays instead of handing it off to the USPS. They cost a lot more though...

Fedex by far the best here too. I think they are the only company that uses independent contractors for ground, maybe that is the difference.
