Default Cinemax "Warrior"

Warrior is an American action-drama television series, executive-produced by Shannon Lee and Justin Lin, that premiered on April 5, 2019, on Cinemax. It is based on an original concept and treatment by Bruce Lee. It is considered the first Martial arts drama produced by Cinemax.

Jonathan Tropper was chosen by the executive producers to be the showrunner for the series.

In April 2019, Cinemax renewed the series for a second season which premiered on October 2, 2020. It was Cinemax's final original offering before ceasing original programming.

Check out the trailers for Season 1 and 2.

Season 1

Season 2

If you are into amazing fight choreography you do not want to pass this up.

For those who don't have Cinemax, both seasons are currently on sale for $9.99 on iTunes. It is a great show IMO.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that knows about this show. The production in this show is top notch.

One of the producer's of Banshee is also producing the show. Did you guys notice how the show pay's homage to "Banshee"?

And how about season 2? It was so damn intense!! Hopefully more people will catch on so this show can continue to air.

We need a Blu-ray release too.

Yeah. It is a shame that Cinemax no longer produces original content. They really had a knack for adrenalin-fueled fun shows. Banshee, Strike Back, The Knick and Warrior were all very entertaining.

Binge watch 1&2 on Hulu or the Max streaming app and send the message that this show needs to be continued!

Warrior is an amazing show! Season 3 really needs to get picked up.. HBO Max would be a great place for it...

There is a petition to get S03 picked up.

I love Strike Back. I own all the season's on blu-ray. The new seasons with the new cast, I don't even know what that is. I tried to watch it but it's definitely not the same without Philip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton. *sigh

Thanks for the link. I signed the petition, didn't donate any funds though, as I have no idea where that money will go if the show does not get renewed.

AMC+ should pick up Warrior series like they did with another great series that Cinemax let go Gangs of London.

WARRIOR SEASON 2 WAS ****ING EPIC! Great action, story and soundtrack.

Unfortunately Cinemax didn't become a priority due to the result of AT&T's acquisition of Warner Bros. I'd like to add "Quarry" & "Jett" on that list as well even though they only ran for a season, both were done well with lots of potential if they had continued, sigh.

I would love to see Warrior to find a home at HBO. They would do it justice and they could also ship it overseas to China/Asia, where they have their own line of martial arts movies and original shows.

The problem is that the team that made the first two seasons has been disbanded ...

Has this been actually confirmed officially? Because to my knowledge the only time I heard about a possibility of the series coming to HBO Max along with a minute chance of a third season was from an interview with actress Dianne Doan:

https://meaww.com/warrior-season-3-h...o-max-petition

But to my knowledge, HBO Max have never confirmed adding any original programming content from Cinemax to their streaming service.

No friggin way didn't WB/AT&T say the shows on Cinemax will not be on HBO Max?

Well if true I hope they give the series more seasons it deserves it and more of Cinemax style of shows.

Warrior added to HBO Max this looks like a good sign of a possible season 3 crossing my fingers and could be a good sign HBO Max considering to have not only HBO Originals and HBO Max Originals but another which I think they already do on HBO Max called Max Original even though it is nothing like Cinemax content at the moment.

It would a smart move if they bring back the Cinemax style TV Series to HBO Max I am sure AT&T regrets making the changes and losing the Gangs of London series which is a must watch on AMC+.

If the show remains canceled, how conclusive does season two feel?
