Hey now no harm intended! I was just pointing out the hilarious irony of a glitch. There was a smiley face even! I actually meant how two exact versions of your topic got posted, not that it's a reposted thread in general.

I actually couldn't think of any other remakes better than the originals, in most cases I haven't seen the original... only Texas Chainsaw Massacre but I preferred the original.

King Kong, original was a classic, the 1976 remake was ok but nothing great but the 2005 version just rules

Great thread, good to see one of these instead of people just complaining about "not another remake".

Tough choices though, had to go with The Hills Have Eyes.
Honourable mentions to King Kong, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Thing and The Fly.

I didn't know Man on Fire was a remake, love the new one but never saw the original so I can't vote for it.
