A multi movie deal was probably apart of the negotiations way back before WW appeared in BVS.

I love cats, despite the fact they think they are superior to humans. Which is funny.

Looking at the state of the world, I think cats might be right in thinking they're superior to humans.

Chris Pine better be back in this so Diana and Steve can finally get a much deserved happy ending.

You are seeing the world at it's absolute worst. Fighting an invisible world wide enemy is something humans have little to no experience with. Our experience is fighting each other, not something we can't see with our own eyes. Our fight or flight inherent response is worthless.

I'm not just talking about dealing with the invisible enemy. I'm talking about EVERYTHING.

He's dead, happy ending is out the window.

Plus, is she that bad an actress they can't find a single other actor to pair her up with?

He was dead in the first movie too, didn't stop them from bringing him back for 1984. It doesn't take much to bring him back a second time. Audiences are rooting for Diana and Steve, there won't be much goodwill towards a completely new love interest introduced in the final installment.

Luckily Patty Jenkins seems to love casting either Gal or Chris in all her projects and there's even speculation she's going to use Chris in her Rogue Squadron movie so I can't see her outgrowing Chris in the final Wonder Woman movie.

Chris Pine could come back as Steve Trevor's son.

There'd have to be a lot of explaining how Steve Trevor had a kid from a relationship he had before he met Diana during World War I.

And if the next movie were to take place in modern day, his son would have to be extremely old and most likely dead already.

Also, there's the questionable ethics surrounding the idea of Diana getting it on with the offspring of her previous lover, who she obviously held a torch for more than half a century.

Then again, if the writers felt Diana wouldn't care about taking advantage of the body of the man Steve inhabited during 1984 and having nonconsensual sex with him, even allowing for him to be put in danger, she probably wouldn't have second thoughts about banging Steve's son either.

Actually, nevermind. It doesn't make sense when I actually think about it. Steve Trevor wasn't even in his own body, so yeah. I kinda forgot for moment there.

We don't need another Captain America/Sharon Carter storyline, especially when that became moot from the fact that Cap ends up with Peggy at the end anyway.

Actually, you are right. It got annoying when the MCU kept using Peggy Carter. Like, seriously. First Cap movie took place in WWII, how the **** do they still try to make her relevant? Enough. She's dead. Move on. There's other characters, you know.

I liked Peggy so I was fine with them bringing her back. And she really didn't have a substantial role in the movies beyond the first Captain America. Just her dying or a flashback like in Ant-Man and then her Endgame appearance. Bringing in Sharon and having her and Steve kiss was completely unnecessary though if they always planned on restoring Steve to Peggy.

She didn't need to be in Ant-Man either. Not to mention she getting her own show, out of all characters.

Also I think Marvel was just trying to be faithful to the comics by having Steve and Sharon hooking up. But I guess Marvel later realized that, it's too weird.
