The films look beautiful! Really excited for this I love the Lucky Stars movies. Will have to watch in Cantonese, I find it much funnier that way. Great extras too this year is already shaping up nicely! This, The Young Master, Snake In The Eagle's Shadow and now Armour Of God coming our way and it's only January!

So we manged to recreate the export cut of My Lucky Stars with the Classic English Dub in HD and it should be included if all goes to plan.

Plus there should be a special surprise
included as well.

As much I love all those Kung Fu films that 88Films are releasing, I'm loving Eureka's more 80's and 90's HK action output much more. Anything from 1982 onwards i will welcome with open arms, so many classic and forgotten action, fantasy and Martial Arts flicks that NEED rescuing and I hope Eureka carry on with this trend.

Apart from the dubs Dimension/Miramax/whatever created for older JC movies I only thought there was an old and a new dub for all the classics. I figured the english re-dubs from the HKL era was the same ones featured on newer releases as well

Is the dub optional? i.e. does the export cut still have the original language with English subtitles?

Actually disregard Winners & Sinners. I just got the Fox DVD and it's just the same dub as the HKL DVD. My Lucky Stars does have three dubs though.

The English dub now supplied by Fortune Star for Police Story is like this - same script as that used for the Media Asia dub used by HKL, but different actors. I don't get why they bothered doing that, in both cases, as there is a full English dub for the film dating back to 1985.
