That would be a huge deal indeed if they managed to get a deal with Lionsgate. Just imagine the possibilities

I know it wouldn't be a lot of people's first choice from Lionsgate, but if there is a deal coming, then I hope we get Cecil B. Demented.

This would be a boon. If Lionsgate has plans for a few more Vestron titles, fine. But it's clear they're never going to work through their catalog using that line. Give Scream Factory the rest.

Lionsgate owns the Trimark Pictures library, right? I would love to see Scream release Pinocchio's Revenge if a deal could somehow happen.

Probably wouldn't be a Scream or a 4K but if true, I would bet on a release of Light Sleeper, considering the newer blu ray in the UK.

Trying to translate Billanese (and could absolutely be wrong), I believe he's just talking in generalities. Shout Factory being the largest boutique may be the only one that can make a deal with lionsgate.

Personally, I think they have more 4k upgrades and a new WB (including New Line Cinema) to announce in May.

What titles would they even want from Lionsgate at this point? They seem focused on more mainstream and well known films lately.

Extreme Prejudice alone would be worth a deal. Candyman III, Shadow of the Vampire, and a few other dozen titles also say hello.

Yeah I don't think Bill is referring to anything concrete:

Given further plans are apparently afoot for the Vestron Video line, I'm not sure if Lionsgate would even bother with this if they were also licencing horror titles to Scream.

More than likely. Still there is that 10% chance that I'm holding onto.

Bruiser. Or at least I do.

And it's George A. Romero, a filmmaker that has a healthy selection on their label.

I could see them wanting to release Halloween 4 and Halloween 5 on 4K and possibly reissue Halloween '78 on 4K with the original mono track.

I'd love to see Scream do a worthwhile Saw box set. It's not as if Lionsgate on their own have really bothered to do anything with it besides reissuing their barebones collection when Jigsaw came out.

I really, really, really hope we get a nice big Elm Street box.

The original 7 films are in dire need of new transfers.

Woops, I meant Scream Factory. But that sounds like an intriguing movie for sure!
