Default An Unfriended: Dark Web Question...

This is for anyone who got the DVD (or Blu-Ray) versions of Unfriended: Dark Web....

I've heard different stories of this, so I figured I would ask here for confirmation.

I've heard that if you get the Blu-Ray of the film, it has one ending attached to it. But if you get the DVD copy, it has a different ending attached to it (not counting the special features which are additional endings that you can watch separately).

Is this true? And can someone confirm which ending is on which version of the flick? Thank you.

I'm in the UK and imported the German release not realising that the whole movie was formatted for the German language lol.

Yep, I just watched my German version today and realised this as well. There's a German version of the movie and a French version as well on the disc but not English (although you do have the option of German, French or English audio).

Haven't seen this particular movie, but these technology themed films become comically dated rather quickly.

The recent price drop on Amazon brought this one back onto my radar. The $2.99 shipping wasn't all that enticing however and so after checking ebay I found that GRUV (The official Universal ebay seller) has this for $5.99 and free shipping and so I picked up a copy. I had $.63 in ebay bucks which wiped out tax and an extra $.12 as well so total paid for a new copy was only $5.78. I thought the first film was an enjoyable enough time killer and I of course love all things horror so I'm happy to finally add this one to the collection.

Everyone is replying but there's still no answer to OP's Question.

I don't have the answer, but it's funny. I wonder if they got their answer

Have you not seen it yet, TripleHBK? It's a good'un. I don't think it's the overlooked masterpiece that Letterboxd makes it out to be, but at the very least, I thought it was on par with the original, which I also enjoyed.

Not yet no. I blind bought the original and had a good time with it and this has been on the radar forever but I thought I remembered hearing mixed things and so I had just been waiting for a low enough price to dive in. I'm looking forward to this ones arrival though as it will be a nice contrast to the usual low budget 80s horror I watch most often.

I want to share with you some important information I recently discovered. https://deeplab.com/security/ai-copi...l-1000000-scam published an article about an artificial intelligence scam that copies the voice of teenage girls and uses it in fraudulent schemes. This is indeed a disturbing case that highlights the need for caution and awareness in the digital world. However, despite this ominous news, our Blu-ray forum is a space where we can discuss and enjoy Blu-ray-related movies and technology. I encourage all members to take this information into consideration and to be vigilant in online interactions.

No one has ever seen Unfriended: Dark Web and come back to the Light Web side again.
