Also, an IMAX documentary of Jason Lee going to a Shaolin temple to train just looks fun.

There were just too many discs on this site and shipping for 9 discs was less than 7 euros...
Hi philsfan,

Don't want to damper your excitement but some of those might just be German autoconversion. Those are basically no different than the 3d simulation effect found on our monitors. Hope not.

Ordered Solo, not very good reviews but only 3D Star Wars I was missing. I’m too old to be a Star Wars freak so some of the problems the hard core have I could care less about.

Solo is the best Star Wars movie IMO, absolutely loved it.

I guess it didnt speak to me as much and I felt the 3D was so so. The snow train sequence was fun though. I think my fav for story, imagery, and 3D is Rogue One. The last space battle was pretty tight and that added kick in the last sequence was a fan boys dream (in a good way).

Watched *Insurgent (2015)*, the second part of *Divergent* series.

OK film, but the 3D was fun and really fit the movie. Some excellent scenes with beautiful 3D layering and the medium pop outs were quite good as well. Very good conversion; I actually didn't notice any conversion errors.

Too bad the third (and first) part is only in 2D.

Watched The Bubble and Wrath of the Titans last night. I think my expectations were too high for Bubble. I liked the story, but it dragged at times. 3D was decent, especially taking into account when it was made. The pop outs for whatever reason didnt seem to pop as much on my display as some of its contemporaries. I think a rewatch is in order.

Wrath was pleasantly surprising and the 3D was pretty good. Was neato to compare the Cronus CGI with that of Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters which we saw earlier in the week.

Hopefully I'll be one of the lucky ones to get the Kino Lorber shipment of Wings of the Hawk early. Also getting The Maze, Goodbye to Language, Jivaro, Nudie Cuties and 4k Mad Max. Ordered at Black Friday...

The Thriller into short (not the full song) is awesome with zombies and the like walking into the camera and doing the usual silly things to generate maximum pop-out effects. I enjoyed watching the 3D and skimming thru the main title.
Fantastic legacy without the bullshit extortion and provable lies but sure.
The powers that be will probably ban me again for saying such.

Thats how the big ball rolls.

But yes,the short 3D segments are fantastic.....whether Michael Jackson is in them or not.

After Captain America The First Avenger, began including the four Avenger entries in my rerun curriculum. Been a long time since I saw them, so the stories are almost fresh in my mind, just like the outstanding 3D appearing as if being seen for the first time.

Just finished Age of Ultron. Two more to go.

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy here tonight.

Solid 3D on this one, though in some spots I had some trouble with it (backgrounds showed some ghosting or crosstalk... might have been related to my setup or a need to adjust settings). I found it wasn't as effective in darker scenes, but it never felt 'flat'. Most of the best effects involved surroundings and the like, which is something that always appeals to me.

So yeah, worth the extra wait for slow mailing. I really enjoyed it!

Watched "Solo" from my imported UK 3D set. Obtained 4K digital copy and streamed it at the same time, going back and forth to see pq. Both looked great, the 4K shimmering with detail and the 3D (converted?) mostly convincing, good depth. Glad to have both but will revisit the 3D more than the other.
