He's seemed to have grown a lot since Skull Island and then there's beam deflecting axe he has by the end of the trailer too. So he has greater dexterity than any of the Kaiju (being that he's an ape) and wields a weapon that can deflect one of Godzilla's finishing move.

Really liked Godzilla: King of the Monsters (seem to be alone in this)

Curious about this one. The trailer didn’t fill me with confidence, but still curious!

I think there's only 3 returning characters (as far as I can tell). Ken Watanabe is in this but it's another actor with the same name

As for the music (as bad as it is) at least they didn't use the Thai version of "Mickey" like another movie

I think GvK has the potential to be the best one though!

Your not alone, I also really liked KOTM alot and I know alot of other people that do also. Don't get some of the strong hate as it definitely has some of the best scenes and set pieces of the entire franchise. I won't lie about some of the complaints about it though as it does have a weak story and some characters are terrible. Godzilla vs Kong doesn't look like a game changer any any means but it looks to be alot of fun and that's what most of us can hope for.

I love them all, they're all bat-**** crazy and they're a thrill ride. This seems like more of the same and I'm totally on board pulling that whistle. Chooo-Chooo!!

147 minutes!!??! Good God. Why does everything have to be so bloated nowadays? The first Godzilla, Skull Island, Pacific Rim, and all the Jurassic Parks have managed to tell tight and exciting stories in around 2 hours even. 2 and a half for a movie this chaotic and loud gets us into Bayformers territory. I love long movies when they fit the story and tone, but this may end up being too excessive. Oh well, I’m sure the hardcore fans will be ecstatic.
