Ignorant people seem to get caught up in the word “digital” but they have no concept of what binary data really means. That poster is the only one I have been associated with that had zero learning ability.

In my experience very little explanation was needed for laypeople to understand there is a difference between a low bit rate MP3 and a CD. They do not know the workings of binary data but they can grasp that a lot of information in the MP3 has been discarded and therefore requires a lot less data for storage.

My plasma is starting to emit a faint humming noise. It may be interference from a new cable modem, but I'm convinced it's a sign to upgrade to a new TV.

I'm also noticing random white dots flickering on black screens that look like film artifacts, but I'm too lazy to narrow it down to a cable, the receiver, the blu-ray player, or the TV.

With the Super Bowl fast approaching there are a lot of great sales on a wide range of new TVs. If you need to get a new one, now is an opportune time.

Likely the power supply going, if its smaller then 50" then BB will recycle it. OLED is the way to go. If you still want small both Sony and LG sell a 48" OLED, but 55", 65" are so light compared to what you have been using. Look at Rtings for guidance.

It’s 60” so it looks like I’ll be paying $$$$ for OLED and a 4K receiver.

I’m hoping the charisma of the lead carries it for me. Also the 4K!

I would buy it anyway because I enjoyed the first one and my mind would keep telling me I need the sequel next to it!

It won't be all that expensive; there are some great sale prices going on right now and the expenditure will be well worth it.

Sorry, but spending $20-$30 just to see her prance about in a skimpy outfit is not worth it to me. If that's the best thing about this movie, then I can wait for it to come to SVOD.

Can't I already see, and hear, all of that in the far superior first movie? I have it on 3D blu-ray and while it lacks Atmos it is in 3D.

Have the first WW on BD, UHD BD and 3-D BD. Watched WW84 via HBO Max and for us it equaled a OK with PFRV=0 (potential for repeat viewing). As always, test drive for yourself and see if worth a purchase!!!

Not my way sir. I think I’m far less selective since 4K came out. I guess I will settle into a more selective pattern soon.

However, I do blind buy every new title.
