Very difficult day for me. I certainly recognize we have the pieces in place for long term success, but I wasn’t in any way emotionally ready for our season to end last night.

I’m pulling for Brady. To do this at 43 (and no real training camp) is unbelievable.

I like seeing the old guys surprise people. Mahomes is going to win a few more rings im sure in the next 10 years.

I can't pull for a guy who called his ex-GM racial slurs, vandalized his apartment, accused of sexually-assaulting women and sending disgusting Tweets to one of his accusers, sent pictures of one of his accuser's kids, paid people to follow her kids around and threaten them, forced his way out of two teams in one offseason, and so on, to win a SB, especially with Brady at the helm.

If anything, I'm more concerned about the Bills finally getting that first ring with Mahomes around. I still love watching him play, though, not gonna lie. One of the most fun QBs to ever play the game, and at such a young age to boot.

Guys: I've been there. All week, the local sports talk have been how the Bills remind us of the 2018 Chiefs. The Chiefs lost to Brady in Arrowhead in OT (we didn't touch the ball in OT). It was crushing.

The Bills will be back. They have a great team, an upcoming young QB (who through this experience will get better-and more dangerous to the opposing teams) and good coaching staff.

This is a team on the rise. I love the fact it's a small market team with history of passionate fan base, who love their team every year...not just during the bandwagon years.

Tip of the hat to the Bills and the Bills Mafia.

I’m rooting for Brady as well, but mostly because he played at Michigan.

Don't fret the Bills made it farther then the Lions have in 63 years, with more playoff wins. If Allen can figure it out they will be back they are legit.

Losses this late in the year hurt more than not qualifying for the Playoffs (like us every year). So while you did get an extra month of football more than a lot of us, it does sting to get so close.

Your foundation is young’ish. You’ll be back stronger. Buffalo’s still at the arrival stage. The window is opening wider.

This is why i love $$betting....

I bet $4,000 to collect $5,000 if neither game goes to OT.
At another sportsbook i bet $750 to collect $4,750 if at least 1 game goes to OT.

Cant lose.

If no OT i make $250.
If OT i break even.
No OT winner $250.

Thats 1 thing they dont talk about enough.
With all the sportsbook comp theres always loopholes that sneak thru the crax.
Cant wait to see what they do for the super bowl again.

Wasnt thrilled with the Lions head coach choice however I am loving the way Campbell is putting together his staff.

Deuce Staley - New Assistant Head Coach
Anthony Lynn - New OC

Staley like Eric Bieniemy should have been head coach this year, draft + Stafford trade, big things may be happening in Detroit this year, then again we've said that shit for 63 years so who knows.

Funny fact about the upcoming Super bowl, the home team will be the KC Chiefs and can if they want take the home locker room.

So Staley has found a new home after all. That was quick.

And no, he shouldn't have been our HC. I'm glad that he's been able to find a new opportunity elsewhere, but it would've been hypocritical of our owner to promote Staley after he already fired Pederson for wanting to promote people internally. There was nothing left to keep Staley in Philly.

Don't disagree. The challenge for all teams is cap/salary and injuries....so I know it's talent, coaching and the breaks that will get any team back to the Super Bowl.

One of the challenges for the Chiefs has been keeping linemen healthy. We've lost 4 starters (injury and one case an opt out) from the start of the season going into the Super Bowl.

Brett Veach has been a key figure in the Chiefs success so far. He's been able to find great guys in the draft (Sneed rookie corner-oh, and credited with pushing for Mahomes) and picked up guys during the season and off season that have been key ingredients in overcoming injuries.

The next level of work will be after another year, then we could see some cap issues.

Veach is a young guy (43) and I hope is with the Chiefs beyond his recent contract extension.

TB is the home team.
NFC gets odd number yrs.
Thats why the super bowl is KC vs TB -- not TB vs KC -- since home team is listed last.

I know we still have the Super Bowl to look forward to, should be a fun one, but looks like there will be lots of QB activity this offseason and it quietly seems like my Niners are going to be kicking the tires on some of the names out there. Jimmy has been decent, when not injured, but some of the names out there will certainly be upgrades and the QB position is the one key position that should have them back in contention next season.
